Morning my lovelies

Brrrrr it's freeeeeeeeeezing here. No sun, just white cloud and no warmth
I like cold weather but even I am sick of it now.
No major plans for today. Off to soft play this morning, schools runs etc. H is working late tonight so I shall be eating on my own. Saved myself a portion of the lasagne made yesterday so will have that with some salad.
Back is killing me again. Not my usual problem it's more like muscular tension pains. Got up at 2am for painkillers as I couldn't get comfy. Shut cat up in kitchen/dining room to give H a good night sleep for his interview today and the bloomin' cat can open the door  and met me coming down the stairs!
Not read yesterdays thread yet but it seems a few hugs are in order for Nic1 x

Morning All
Cold and dull here today
Still in my nightie but DH just got home so I will get a shower in a mo.
Not much planned for the day apart from booking the car in for it's MOT next week - I know it won't pass so bye bye more money to shell out
What annoys me is that I end up with a quarter of a tank less of diesel than when I put it in the garage and as the cost of diesel is rocketing I think that the MOT should be cut in price to compensate motorists
D1amo are you sure your wife isn't just suffering menopause symptoms? These include huge mood swings, weight gain etc. I hope you get things sorted you sound on such a downer (((((((Hugs))))))
Camelot I hope that you are feeling better ((((((((((Hugs))))))))))
Well I had better get my bot in gear
Have good days allBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning All
Thanks for all the good wishes yesterday, it must have worked. I feel much better but went to the docs anyway, was a bit concerned it was a chest infection, but no, it's just a virus!
2 HOURS TILL I SEE DD!! That in itself is making me feel better!
Congrats to Miss Redruby, hope the trial goes well.
Congrats also to Sistercas DD (I think) for passing the driving test.
Good to see you Beemuzed, hugs.
Nic - hope you get a solicitor sorted, sad but necessary.
JackieG - Look at you go! The diet seems to be doing you good, don't overdo it!!
Off to get a few bits of shopping in a mo and then to the airport. No washing to speak of (till DD gets in), DW just going on, hoover thrown about and it looks generally ok.
Take care. XX0 -

Good Morning x
A slow start to the day today. However the sun is coming out now although its freezing cold. Doggies chasing the suns rays around the living room!
My WM is a whirring away as per usual. Might try and get DD to put this load out on the line.
I have had some good news that my mortgage protection is finally paying out having been with the Financial Ombudsman for a year or so. Also have to say that Im very impressed with the service from the FO. My relief was palpable when i heard as it will make an enormous difference to my families security. I expected to be jumping for joy but its all rather weird because Id much rather be working as a midwife. Still got to come to terms with that! Never mind I have a blood transfusion booked for next Friday (a week away) so lets hope nothing happens in the meantime!!
OS - try my hand (or DD's) with making some dough for pizzas. Any tips will be much appreciated? Oh washing has clicked off. Hugs xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Lol I had blue and white stripe dungarees in 1989 when I was expecting DD - I looked like Andy Pandy:rotfl:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

:j:j:j that's brilliant news Molly, if I wasn't so fat I would be doing cartwheels for you

Bitsy have a big giant squishy hug, you sound like you're in a real funk honey. xxxx
Guess what? I have just been digging in the garden for an hour! I think the body snatchers have been here, there must be something wrong with me - shame they never gave me a completely different body, instead of replacing this one :rotfl: Off up to dig out some toys for selling next, now I have eaten my porridge, and the person who never paid OH last week has coughed up today, so its a nice positive start to the day, all round (we'll ignore the argument with OH at six am
)
Camelot, enjoy your drive down to the airport; I love going to the airport to pick up loved ones
Back later, ladies and D
