    morning!

last day off for me of my week off! doesn't it fly! Back to work tomorrow and doing 6 out of 7 days next week.

    Plans for today

Washing - second load in the machine - bit of ironing to do.

Wash the car - its a disgrace!

am off to visit a couple of friends this morning and also look for a new pair of shoes for work - need to be comfy, my Clarkes ones are getting a bit thin on the bottom now.

Not a lot else planned - might make a pizza for tea if SDH fancies one.

(((hugs))) to nic and Candy! x x

Redruby - well done to your DD :T hows things with your parents? x

have a great day all x

    Good Morning All

Well done Miss Redruby - hope the trial goes well

NicLou - havn't caught up with the recent threads but seems (((hugs))) are in order

Friday at last, seems to have been a long week. DD's parents evening went well last night apart from Maths so she needs to put in some extra work for that. My 'procedure' at the clinic was fine :o thankfully.

Today have both British Gas & Asda coming between 8-10am, British Gas are coming to service the boiler. This afternoon need to go out to return a car to our mechanics which they have kindly lent us for 3 months whilst we waited for Oh's new one.

Have mince out for dinner, not sure whether it will turn into Lasagne or Chilli - fancy Lasagne more so hopefully boiler man will turn up early.

Need another cuppa now, have a good one all.x

    Morning all!

Beautiful sunnshine here today, still quite cold, but so nice to see the big yellow thing!

dd1 has gone to school, after a brief moan about diarrhoea she tucked into a hearty brekkie! Her dad spoke to her last night, and whatever he said worked, as she'd done her best to get herself collected from school, and got very shirty with me when I told her to get on with it, school office were in fits when I told them I wasn't collecting her no matter how good an actress she was! Anyway, she is talking to me, and even offered me a cuppa when I got home last night!

OS stuff today will involve a good clean of the kitchen and sitting room, as a friend is coming round for lunch with her 2yr old, and I'd rather she didn't find anything awful poked in a corner lol! My kids are stars at shoving things in gaps to save them tidying properly! Rest of the house is pretty much ok, landing seems to have had another explosion on it though, think it's the cats jumping about on the bookcase there and knocking things off! Also need to sort out a vast amount of washing, and get some more napisan so I can soak the girls school shirts over the weekend! How one earth do they end up so grey looking, I feel like the before bit of the vanish ad!

Hoping that I can make a hair appointment for this aft, as I have more than my fair share and it's looking wilder than usual! And I'm away for the weekend so would like it easy to look after! Each year a group of us who went to school get together for a weekend, it's great fun and we all revert to being about 5yrs old! I always feel so lucky to have a group of friends, who no matter how far apart we are, are always there for each other. On reflection, we probably know so much about each other that we wouldn't dare to not be friends! ;)

If there's time I could do with finding a pair of maternity jeans, as squeezing into mine is becoming very difficult if I still want to breath!

Lunches for dd1 and dd3: ham sarnies, red nose rice cripy things, clems, apple, cheese

Dinner will be roast pork, have defrosted a leg from the pig we bought at Chrimbo, it's enormous, so may halve it and use the rest to make pork and choritzo
goulash ready for when we arrive home on Sunday.

Hope everyone has a good day, I'm going to read back and have a slow start to the day, simply because I can! xx

the only yellow thing up in the north east this morning is DS10 who has gone to his fancy dress day at school as Bart Simpson - blue shorts, yellow face, spiky yellow hair, yellow limbs - the lot! I'm now going to shower off the yellow that is all over me - if I had a blue wig I could be marge! Then off for my fortnightly coffee at a friend's.
    Have a good Friday everyone.

    Morning everyone,

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi to you all. Had a lovely lay in this morning - bliss. The sun isn't out here yet, but I'm hoping it will be soon (though the weather forecast isn't looking too hopeful!) A gammon shank is in the slow cooker and I'm hoping it'll give me lots of meat for my Sunday pie for tea. And yes, there is a shedload of housework to do but I'm not sure I can be bothered just yet - I am on holiday - but I suppose I should get around to it sometime. :D Another cup of tea first, yes.

    Have a good day, everyone.

mummysaver - don't know what your preference is for jeans, but I'm wearing some lovely copmfortable under bump ones from Next. I tried the over bump ones from H & M but they were too short in the leg which is weird as I stand at 5'4"!

Morning all, cold oh so cold here today, Wm on I knew the lack of washing wouldnt last.So got whites sploshing round.I have a new lease of life today feeling well :j:j.Ds4 is off today. He has every friday off school but has some work emailed to do over the weekend if he feels upto it.On the subject of ds4 thank you all so much for the kind words from you all about him yesterday. However if I had given him all the hugs sent to him I would have squashed him so he got away with one or two;).Gregg (bubs I went to see yesterday) is so sweet .I could have held him all day friend fell asleep on the sofa for a couple of hours so I just kept an eye on him till she woke up.She was so apologetic when she woke up, silly lady it didnt bother me I know what its like to have a new bub and be exhausted as do you .Her hubby was really cross with her when she told him and said she shouldnt fall asleep and leave guests looking after Gregg .It was her job:mad::mad:I wont say what was on the end of my tounge but it wasnt polite.Dinner tonight is lamb chops and pots of some kind , getting bored with mash and roasties .Hugs for all have a lovely day everyone.:wave:

good morning everyone- hope the trial goes well for dd Red ruby(i hope the verdict goes her way!)

İt has been an unsettled week. i have felt under stress because of DHs unhappiness. she seems brighter today whıch makes me feel better(must be love)-any sort of upset in life makes me feel bad-its a part of my condition.

İts bright and sunny here but the temperatures arent quite spring like-i am still wearing my coat on my motorbike in the morning and at night but daytime is ok. DD has a bad cough and isnt going to school but she goes to granny during the day -i do worry about her being at home alone despite her being old enough now.

İ wish i could say its friday and my week is over but saturdays are my longest day of work and today is used to get ready. i dont have many lessons today and it will be an early finish.-i havent had any alcohol this week and i am still assessing whether a lot of this stress has been either withdrawl or i need some alcohol to take the edge off! i have been meditating but it hasnt been very settled-my mind has been active depite my efforts.

İ hope your all well and have a good day-
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.

Thanks Lowesy, the over the bump ones were all that was about when I had my others, and I hated them, they were so old looking! Though not sure who I'm trying to impress lol! I have a voucher for Next, and even better we have a large one out of town, so no parking probs, will pop in there and find some. Thanks for the tip x

NicLou - my only advice is get a good solicitor, pref the one that anyone you know says was good or took them for every penny! My sol is lovely, I went to her on the recommendation of friends who had used her, and several who had experienced her from the other side! I'm lucky that my ex and I get on really well, and have worked most things out ourselves, but it's always nice to know I have someone ready in my corner if I need them! Much love to you though hun, it's a horrible time, I found friends were a real help, especially the ones who made endless tea and just listened xx

Siscas and RR - congrats to your girls xx

Made hair appt, will be off late this aft, pork will go in before I leave and should be ready when I get back :)
