moozie wrote:I missed you this weekend rog2. I sort of assumed you were busy with your daughter but I kept looking to see if you'd made an appearance.
I am sorry about the lack of work. Wish there was something I could do. I am sending you all my positive vibes and here's hoping something turns up very soon :grouphug:
Thanks Moozie - what was to have been a few hours help turned into a long weekend  but, as you said - it allowed me to spend some 'quality'
time with my eldest daughter. I actually enjoyed it very much, but I was absolutely shattered - it seemed as if they've cornered the market in 'self assembly' (which means get your dad to do it) furniture from MFI and IKEA
Thanks for your, and others, positive vibes on the work front - I know it will work out in the end - just that it's a few years since I was ever in this situation, so I guess I'll just keep plugging away:beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Just 40p on some crisps (cos I was starving
) and the obligatory £4.90 bridge toll  for me today.
Bonus though... I got paid a couple more hours than I expected last week (new job so still figuring it out!) and they managed to use the correct tax code despite me only having been there a week so no stupid basic rate for me!! :beer:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. i will rog... am going xmas shoping in the morning although my xmas fund is getting rather low so i will be trying to get cheap(er) things
and then i am having a long bath in the evening and a night with the computer and a duvet :rotfl: 0 -
Hi everyone
I've got a few days off work so had a nice day to myself today. Had a few things to do and treated myself to lunch (£6) before going for my free haircut
Actually it was a bit of an anti climax. It looks ok but not a huge change - I told them I didn't want it too short - from the front it looks almost the same to me
Bf & daughter said it looked nice - I'll take their word for it. I was there for 3 1/2 hours which was a little bit too long but I must admit it was nice to sit about doing nothing for a change.
Doing the weekly shop tomorrow but have budgeted for that (it's not in my Sun-Fri total), then spending the rest of the day giving the house a good clean.
