Not too much hopefully, although being a terrible DFW and buying lunch at uni (tut, tut I know) - also might go out for food tonight, my housemates are being useless with cleaning up the kitchen adn they know we have maggots in!! (yuck!). We even get cleaned once a week but keeping the worksurfaces clean for a week and doing their washing up seems beyond them. Arggh.
Anniestar: hope you get on alright with the hospital.
Poorbutrich - I hope this is just a one off or you need to have a word with them and try and sort things out amicably.
Have a good day everyone.Making my money go further with MSE :j

Hi everyone, hopefully this will be a no spender for me today. My son is at home unwell too, so will definately be staying in. Hope you all get things sorted out with your housemates.
I remember when I was a student, our flat was a tip thanks to my lovely housemates. I did all my cleaning but there was no way I was doing all theirs and I'm not exactly a domestic goddess but I hate cigarette ends etc. It came to the point I had my own plates as there was nothing clean x0 -
Oops, forgot I was meeting someone for lunch today. Will likely just be baked tattie so less than a fiver.OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090

I'm off for lunch out with my best friend not sure what it will cost but have budgeted £12. I'm really looking forward to it as we haven't got together for lunch since May. Other than that I need to get DD a present for her friend's birthday party she is going to on Saturday. Hopefully I will spend no more than £20 today.
Hello. Hope things go well at hospital Annie. Just wanted to say, the maccas, that I now have a system for birthday parties as we've had loads of them recently. I make cookies and ice the child's name onto them, one letter per cookie. They look lovely and children love things with their names on, especially if they have an unusual name. There are always a few left over for DD to ice, definitely her favourite part!If you can't be a good example, be a dire warning

PS. Feel guilty for whingeing about my housemates in an earlier post. I'm just grateful to have a roof over my head. Sorry about being negative!Overpay!0 -

Honestly, don't feel bad. House sharing was one of the worst experiences of my life! The people were fine, but sharing with people you aren't related to or have chosen to share with 100% out of choice can be pretty grim. If you aren't friends with them you feel you should be, and if you are it can suffer over the trivial stuff like washing up and taking too long in the bathroom. A whinge and a moan once in a while can help! As can beer, gin, curry...If you can't be a good example, be a dire warning

I'm taking my two daughters out for tea as it is oldest one's 13th today and hubby has had to go to London on a course. I've got a voucher for one third off at Pizza hut or Brewer's Fayre so she can take her pick from those two!0

Was hoping to do my Mon-Thurs challenge of NSD (I succeeded last week), but my fone is broke and bf thinks it the battery, so will have to buy a new one off ebay.

Hi everyone
I have to spend £1.44 at the library because my book is overdue
Then I'm meeting a couple of friends for a drink because I'm 30 today! Will try to limit what I spend though, and make up for it with extra earning while I'm on leave from my main job this week.
Have a good Monday!
