I bought an electric shredder (strip cut)last week at Big W for £9.99. It was a Woolworths brand so might be worth checking out Woolworths if you are not near a Big W.

I don't know whether anyone will find this helpful or not, but I use the shredder at my work. I know everyone may not have access to one at their work, but it works for me.0

Drop the pages you want to shred down the kitchen waste disposal unit. Nobody is going to read them after that. And it's free -- assuming you have a kitchen waste disposal unit that is.
Otherwise it's a bit pricy though you do get a shredder that will deal with goldfish and the contents of mousetraps.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

Unless u have lots to shred....why buy a shredder? I save money and time ....I flush all my cc slips down the loo...no chance of someone using them after that ;D0 -

I saw a shredder for £8.99. I think it was in a pound shop, but one of the items that clearly is more than a pound. It was small, with transparent base.
Not sure if you had to wind ahandle or what.
Perhaps if you attach a running wheel, a Gerbil could create his own bed?
Serious about the price though.
