Good Morning all :D -sorry I have been mia the last few days, but well done on those losses folks and hugs to those having hard times right now!!

Another 1.5lb off for me this week -so just 1 itty bitty lb to my next mini target (8.5st off).. it willllllll be mine next week

So then Im going to try and shake things up this week, which will include using at least 10 syns EVERY day *gulp* AND getting back to having a proper brekkie -I seem to have lost my need for brekkie this last few weeks - so then today will be a green day ...

    lemon juice in warm water
    125ml semi (0.5xA)
    14g oats (0.5xB)
    frozen berries

    melon
    pineapple
    2 quorn sausages (1)
    1/2tsp oil (1) -to roast
    onions
    carrots
    parsnips
    peppers
    14g fresh parmesan
    (0.5xB)
    frozen raspberries
    frozen cherries
    activia (2.5)
    jacket potato
    cottage cheese
    lettuce
    cucumber
    tomato
    peppers
    onion
    tickled beetroot
    tickled cabbage

    activia (2.5)
    250ml semi (A)
    125ml semi (0.5xA)
    fibre plus bar (B)
Sooo that little lot comes in at 2A+B and 7 syns -which gives me 3 more syns to play with -incase I need more milk.
I have been of my porridge for a while as I was finding it was making me over full -so today I tried a half portion and :j -its perfect ..so "looks like porridge is back on the menu boys" :D
So far this morning I have fettled the living room and kitchen and done the windows :j and now im going to get on with my recipe hunt oooh and to finish my meal plan for the week

Have a great day everyone -off to catch up on what I might have missed :p

Whoa, don't get carried away, the roasties will have loads of syns. The stuffing, Yorkies and gravy will have to be synned and I am always careful to take my boiled potatoes and other veggies from the top of the pile rather than the bottom just in case they do add butter.

    :rotfl::rotfl:

LMAO Im glad you posted this explanation....... I had a little chuckle to myself ;)
I know I have regular blonde moments but even Im sensible enough to realise to stay clear of the roasted parsnips & cauli cheese unless I want to syn them ( I just presumed everyone else would be too:o) But there are always carrots, swede, cabbage, peas, new spuds.

I think some Toby's may run things differerently - but I know at ours, our consultant checked before she booked us in for our xmas do- and they dont put butter in the plain veggies.

    Good Afternoon Ladies

Well done to Mags, MrsM & Lynz on your Losses :j :T:T

Well Im reporting in with my naughtiness from last night :o

They've only gone and changed some of the menu at my favourite Restaurant  ....... so I was faced with a bit of a dilemma.

I ended up having a starter which I hadnt planned on :o oven baked giant garlic mushroom with bacon & Brie (it had no buttery stuff in it) and was very nice.

My usual Pan fried Tipsy chicken was still on the menu, so I stuck with that.

Then the pudding menu came (no flipping 'old school' jam roly poly ) it was sticky toffee this week:( BUT they had added a couple of new ones so I chose "the Grouse INN Mess" like Eton mess but from a little old rustic Inn in the middle of nowhere on the moors in Yorkshire :p a mix of thick cream, meringue, berries and a drizzle of raspberry liqueur running through it served in a huge sundae glass
OMG I thought I'd died and gone to heaven:D

I had a half glass of red wine (and 1 vodka & slimline tonic)

Soooooooooo today my stomach feels mahoooooosive, It was absolutely lovely but Im suffering for it today :o
Lots and lots of fruit & water today......and very Probably a big batch of Dyno Rod soup this week I'm betting as I reckon the rich food will play havoc with my system IYKWIM (TMI??)

I REALLY want to get to where you are, MrsM. You're so much more in tune with only eating what your body actually needs than I am at the moment.

I must admit I am disappointed in myself, because of life's little stresses and strains I am completely not "over" comfort eating, or eating too much, and if I'm honest I think doing SW hasn't tackled that for me. If I make a pan of veg soup it can be gone in the day. :o When I stick within my syns I lose weight like this, but its the getting the hang of healthy eating habits for life that I'm struggling with. :( Just feeling a bit blue that whilst great, the only plan I have lost weight on is SW, and deep down I know that I can lose it and keep it off by carrying on the plan and keeping up classes one i'm at target this time(!) but in my years of dieting, healthy eating plans, whatever you want to call it, I'm still not grasping the basic concept of eat until you are full and then STOP!!! :o:o:o

If I hang around with you enough, do you think some will rub off on me? :o

HI Skintslimmer. Hope you don't mind me bargeing in on this one. I'm like you, I can eat until somethings completely gone, rather than eating till I'm comfortably full. I find what helps a lot is Paul McKennas weight loss CD and book. Part of what he focuses on is eating until your full and I think it does work (whilst doing his CD religously every day I once left about half of a mcdonalds quarter pounder with cheese because I was full!!:):rotfl:). I know some people think its mumbo jumbo so please feel free to completely ignore me if you want. I just know it works for me (when I DO do it!!:D):)

    Afternoon all!

Hope everyone is out enjoying the sunshine. Its finally decided to emerge here in Swindon - was grim and misty all morning.

God save me from "helpful" OH's! We decided on sandwiches for lunch and I sent him into the shop to grab me some small wholemeal rolls. He comes out pleased as punch with giant bl**dy wholemeal baps and a tub of tuna and sweetcorn sandwich filler because he said he knew I was allowed tuna and sweetcorn!!:rotfl:Bless em....you've got to love them haven't you!;)

    So menu today is:

Breakfast: 2 egg omelette, bacon, beans, mushrooms, tomatos
Lunch: Big Bap;) (HEXB & 6 syns:eek:), tuna sweetcorn filler(5 syns:eek:) and tomatoes.
Dinner: SW quiche, salad, jacket potato
    Snacks: shape zero, banana
Drinks: few coffees (HEXA) and some water

    Miss P

Skint...... do you eat your food quite quickly? do you sit at a table to eat? Im just asking as I've found that I find eating slower I give my brain time to register with my stomach that I am actually 'full & satisfied' rather than just carrying on eating for the sake of it. I dont overfill my plate just for the sake of it......I will wait a while and see if I really am stil hungry (I read somewhere it takes 20minutes to register that you're full when you've eaten??) so the slower you eat the less chance you have of 'over stuffing yourself' ;) x x
