    Hi Likabu,

That's about the gist of the Extra Easy plan. When counting syns, use the lowest syn value on either red or green.

It does work well for weightloss for me, and lots of others. I was lucky enough to lose 6lb on my 1st week of the plan, and when keeping to the plan I lose each week. If you find your loss slows down a bit, it's good to throw a red or green day into the mix too. I find it's made it very easy for me to incorporate the plan into normal family meals, so bangers and mash with veg is still a weekly meal for us, along with a full roast dinner, etc. I must admit that as time has gone on, I'm eating less carbs, and could probably incorporate more red days, but I'm happy most of the time coping with just the 2 healthy extras, and syning anything extra, like cheese, as I can have very satisfying meals anyway.

If it helps, post up your daily meal plan for the guys here to check over, and they'll keep you on the straight and narrow. Good luck!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

LMAO at the prawn crackers :rotfl::rotfl:

Its taken me 42 years to try fish :o I hate hate hate it :o BUT its speedy food ;) (well actually Im lying I did used to eat fish from the chippy if it was smothered in a thick layer of batter :p)

so fAR on my list is

yellow smoked haddock _pale_ I dont like it but I will eat it cos OH loves it, so we have it once a week now
Tuna in a tin.....I can actually tolerate this now with lots of vinegar;)
plain haddock/cod only if i coat it in spiced yog like tikka (but to be fair its the only way Ive done it so far really :o
Prawns I may be converted with these now ;)

I just dont like fishy fish......smells like cat food bleugh :rotfl:

ahemmiaou! ahemiaou! this here is blackers' cat speakin'. What exactly is WRONG with cat food?

On the fishy theme, I love almost all fish and seafood. It must be something to do with being a Pisces! DH and I often have kippers for breakfast and I love eating freshly cooked cockles from the market when I'm back in my home town. I'm planning to try dizzy's spicy fish recipe soon but I thought I'd use pollock rather than mask the taste of lovely cod or haddock. At the moment I'm trying another of my 'shop from the freezers' kicks as I've no space for any batch cooking unless we eat some of it up.
Oooh I'm Aquarius and I love fish, must be the water connection. The only fish I don't eat is anything covered in yellow "breadcrumbs". Smoked mackerel and smoked salmon, jellied eels, all shellfish, tuna, pollock, cod, haddock (my mum always baked smoked haddock with milk and cheese, Dizzy - might help?) ooooh big fat king prawns, I love 'em all. Miaou yes and so do your cats!!! get off cat what are you doing writing on there:eek:

Hey Shala_ Moo can you check whether the coconut alpen you had was an alpen lite - I had one of these it truly was gorgeous ( I love all things coconut anyway) but noticed it was a "full fat"version. If they do these in lite- Ill be well happy!

    :eek::eek:

I never even thought about that - i've just been eating them thinking they are fine. I haven't got the box anymore and it doesn't say it on the wrapper, but calorie wise they're 444cals per 100g so they mustn't be - ohh so gutted.. i'll pretend they are until i've finished the box(only 2):shhh:

I'm a Pisces too, love water, hate fish :D i do think I might try a tuna steak soon though - apparently its like meat.. hmmmm :undecided

Well Mr Moo cooked me a Ricotta Canneloni for tea, it was lovely - from one of the SW books, not sure which one.. it was nice to not have to think of what I needed to cook/eat for once, i think this causes one of the biggest stresses for me. May let him cook for the rest of the year :rotfl:

Enjoyed my first day back on track anyway, hope to carry it on for a while! night all x

Thats marvellous - thanks for taking the time to clarify that for me.

I lost 7lb in my 1st week and dont want to mess it up by not understanding properly.

As for posting my mealplan - I will tomorrow when I've decided, my planning skills have gone down the pan today :-)

WI day and I'm just 1/2 lb off my first half a stone.
Was quite put out to lose 1.5 lbs this week not 2 lbs but its all down to a bottle of wine to celebrate being made permanent at work so I know where I went wrong!

    Today's food...
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
    Mid morning -banana
Lunch - small portion of HM sweet potato soup, grapes, strawberries
Tea Time - Hifi bar (at group) (B choice)
Dinner - jacket potato, beans and cheese (A choice)

No syns as yet but I'm quite full due to a late tea so will probably not bother.

    Hi there,

Ive just started SW online 2 weeks ago after having done it years ago when it was only red and green days.

Do the EE days really work with weightloss? And have I read it right? - 1hea 1heb, foods that are free on red and green days plus a 3rd of plate with ss foods in addition to 5-15 syns?

Wanted to try it out tomorrow but dont want to jump in feet 1st doing it wrong from the start?

    Thanks

It's not QUITE right. One third of your plate should be filled with SuperFREE foods, not SuperSPEED. Superfree are most of the foods that are free on BOTH red and green days, so fruit and nearly all vegetables (not potatoes - or sweet potatoes for someone who asked 2 pages back - not parsnips, peas, other pulses) obviously superspeed is good but you do have to have one third of the superFREE ones. The words are very close and it's easy to get confused.

Thanks for the clarification - so I can still have potatoes without synning then along with my steak and a third of my plate full of carrots, brocolli and cabbage?

    Thanks

    ALL HAIL RESCUE REMEDY :T:T:T:T:T

I took 4 drops before bed [this did no good and had trip to loo in middle of night :o] took another dose first thing [after another trip to loo :o]. The morning was fine as all I had to do was sit through 4 assemblies. Took some more RR after lunch ready for panel interviews in the afternoon & I was absolutly FINE :D:D. Infact I think the RR went to my head as I had such fun!!! I had no probs asking my questions and I had ALOT to say during the discussions. Am thinking the others were wondering what the hell had hit them :rotfl:as normally I don't have much to say :p.
Hubby says not to have any RR tomorrow as I haven't shut up since I got home :rotfl:
Will be so glad when this week is over though, haven't felt so ill as I have been these last couple of weeks. I had a suit I was going to wear but when I tried it on it hung off me. Wore jeggings and longline jumper instead :p.
Food today has been so far off plan, over indulged on the chocolates then had cheese on [white] toast when got home. Tomorrow is an unknown but might take my fruit and yog as haven't had that today. Didn't get home til nearly 7pm and thats too late for fruit for me as it goes through me and that will be another trip in the middle of the night :o.
Think the RR is still affecting me as although not talking alot I AM waffling via typing :rotfl::rotfl:
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
