Morning everyone
Well it was weigh in for me this morning and after falling off the tank for 5 days I have gained 2lbs.
I feel really determined this week to do well and loose that weight so if Dizzy could drive the tank and pick me up that would be great

Hello all... i'm creeping back in :hello:
Have had loads of stressful months and although its still ongoing I thought i'd better pull me socks up and try to stop myself from eating everything in sight before i burst!
My OH is doing all the cooking for the foreseeable future, as I don't get in till late. He's a SW boy though so i'm hoping he'll keep it on track... (still my control freak side is finding it hard to let him do this:eek:)
Well done to everyone who's managed to lose, there are some fantastic weight losses... and i'll be joining the 10 week challenge if you don't mind.. i'd love to lose a stone in that time.
Green today
B - apple, yogurt, alpen light (coconut one mmm)
L- spaghetti hoops, french fries
T - who knows??
S - satsumas, milk in tea,
So i have used 7.5 syns, 0.5 HEA and leaving the rest of HE's for tea time!
hope everyone has a wonderful day - Dizzy you are a brave thing for trying all those fishy things.. the only thing i'll eat that comes close is prawn crackers:rotfl:Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I've been away so long, you've moved the thread. Hiding away from me won't work you know :rotfl:.
Seriously, I haven't been on here for a few weeks or so, and am now paying the price for not doing so! I am an online SW member, so really need the support of the people on hereand I've let things go a bit.
The good news is that since I started mid-January I have lost a total of 1.5 stones .
The bad news is that the weight loss then stopped for a couple of weeks, and I have now put 1lb back on . I have also eaten a whole easter egg today, and the creme eggs that go with it - am very ashamed!
In my defence the last few weeks have been very stressful. I was under threat of redundancy from work for a few weeks - though this has now been resolved and I still have a job, woohoo! I have also been through a relationship breakdown with my bf of 2 years - not so good, but looking forward to the future now.
My plan of action - go to shops today and stock up on fruit and other free foods again, post on here every day with my menu, exercise, and generally look ater myself more.
I haven't really caught up with the thread yet, so will get reading this afternoon and get motivated again.0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: LMAO
Fear not MrsMThe prawns were............
actually quite ok :T :j
I did try a 'bare one' but I couldn't eat more than one in its naked formThe sauce recipe you told me to do was flipping lovely (I remembered at the last minute about the worcester sauce) I got a couple of prawns that tastes verrrry fishy so had to spit them out as I wanted to gag _pale_.....but other than that the verdict is that I think I like them!!
WOOOOHOOOOO another fishy product I can add to my list
Next time you know you are having prawns.. get them out the night before if frozen and once defrosted squeeeeze them out and mix them in with the sauce and chill over night -they will take on more sauce flavour-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Hello Youwelcome back hun
LMAO at the prawn crackers :rotfl::rotfl:
Its taken me 42 years to try fishI hate hate hate it
BUT its speedy food
(well actually Im lying I did used to eat fish from the chippy if it was smothered in a thick layer of batter
)
so fAR on my list is
yellow smoked haddock _pale_ I dont like it but I will eat it cos OH loves it, so we have it once a week now
Tuna in a tin.....I can actually tolerate this now with lots of vinegar;)
plain haddock/cod only if i coat it in spiced yog like tikka (but to be fair its the only way Ive done it so far really
Prawns I may be converted with these now
I just dont like fishy fish......smells like cat food bleugh :rotfl:0 -

Totally agree on fishy fish - just not nice! However, I tried cod with a lemon basil pesto thing that was downright delish.
Sorry for the absenteeism (sp?), I've been away with work. The only thing worse for SW than Italy is knowing that work is paying for all the food, so might as well eat as much as poss!
So, am firmly back in the tank and on plan for damage limitation purposes! My flatmate is cooking tomorrow, and although she is an SW member she isn't very good at judging syns properly (like a "small" splash of olive oil or a "tiny" glass of wine don't matter! :wall:). I think if I go syn free for the remainder of the day she can't accidentally add more than 15 syns to veggie bolognese?!
Food plan for today:
B - fruit, yog + oats (HEB)
L - bolognase (with millions of superfrees and 28g cheese HEA)
D - steamed cod with lemon basil pesto, rice and mixed veg
Snacks - muller, strawberries, blackberries, apple
Syns - Green and Blacks 35g chocolate bar (9 syns and totally worth every one):A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Good afternoon all
Dizzy - you are brave trying new fishy things. I'm not a big fish lover but do like prawns in tempura batter (not good, I know) and tuna (tinned or fresh steak). Thats about it for my repetoire!:rotfl:
Guns - hope your DD's surgery went well
Was very proud of myself last night. Went to Harvester and I had no starter, spitroast chicken for main and NO DESSERT! I did have two small glasses of wine and that, too, was it! If I don't have a loss on thursday night I'll kill someone!:rotfl:
Todays menu is:
Breakfast: 2 egg omelette
Lunch: Pasta in a cup thingummybob
Dinner: Chicken, jacket potato and a ton of roast veg
Snacks: banana
Still lacking on the superfree side. Find I can get it in there if I plan ahead with lunches etc. If I try and do it on the hoof then no veg gets slipped in. Must plan better.

I am literally ravenous!! Maybe Ill have my pagen treat and more C cheese now?
Hey Shala_ Moo can you check whether the coconut alpen you had was an alpen lite - I had one of these it truly was gorgeous ( I love all things coconut anyway) but noticed it was a "full fat"version. If they do these in lite- Ill be well happy!
Right better go and find myself somethng substantial to eat this is killing me today:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Afternoon All
Well as the title suggests serial dieter here back again and well after the last drastic diet I have put all the weight and a few more pounds on and have decided I need a healthy diet not just to lose weight but to improve health, (have also joined a gym, hoping to go 3-4 times a week depending, have already been once this week).
Have just joined again online and up for it, although I have put in what I have eaten so far today (predecision and also was the fact towards the decision and I'm already up to 35 syns so will start properly tomorrow but will try and eat free stuff for tea). Anyway this time it is it, if I don't do it this time I never will......
Take one day at a time.....
Will go back a read this thread in a bit but before I go does anyone know if Oat so Simple, just add water pots can be used as an healthy extra? as I really struggle to fit my healthy extras in and they would be a good breakie for when im at the gym early and go start to work, I've syned them and they come out at 9.5 syns
So I'm Red hope you all dont mind me joining you.
Wish me luck

LyNZ.....I always seem hungry on reds too  the only reason Im doing so many at the mo Is I need some good losses In advance of us going to this golf/pamper break thing (where I know Im not going to be a saint:o then as soon as we get back we have a big family meal at a restraunt that weekend.
I had my Prawn salad at 12.15. and since then Ive had 2 apples, a satsuma and some strawbs......now im thinking about what time I can do my tea :rotfl:
(but Im not as bad as this If I make a 2 egg ham/onion/tom open omlette or chicken for lunch) maybe its just the prawns??0
