I bought these ice lollies today TESCO HELTER SKELTER
each 60g lolly is 46 cal,
    protine trace
    carb 11.3
    with everything else being trace.
Can anyone please help with the syns for this please
I am starting again today after great weight loss last year. I have since then stopped smoking and I have been eating everything in sight.
Oh and I have a huge stock of Chocolate Weetabix, I only had one today for breakfast, would this count as a HE b, or as syns?
    TIA

    2 weetabix chocolate is a HEB + 2 syns ;)
  • Hello everyone, isn't the sunshine nice? I'm in a very happy mood today, just been for an interview and thought it went well, so fingers and toes crossed! ;)

Hopepray, going on the 20 cals to 1 syn rule of thumb, they're likely to be about 2 syns each. Let us know if they are nice!

I think chocolate weetabix are 2 for a healthy extra + 2 syns.

My day was made even nicer by my newly bought smart trousers already feeling loose and falling down - hope it continues and I get naff all wear out of them! :rotfl:

Today's food so far has been:

Green salad (yup, for brekkie :p) with butter beans and balsamic vinegar. Ooh and a boiled egg. Thought I was going to have to need a serious conversation with my flatmate because 6 eggs have gone missing overnight, and I don't do sharing food! turns out the daft mare had got confused about whose they were, and tried the glass of water test to see if they were still fresh, and they sank (sign of freshness). The dizzy girl thought that was a sign they were off and threw them away  but all's well that ends well and she gave me the money for them - I'd only had them 3 days :rotfl:

Musy peas with mint sauce (mmmmmmm) and cheese (a)

I've just had a small bowl of soup, and am waiting to feel hungry enough for dinner.

Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
    Mid morning - satsuma
Lunch - Mexican Savoury Rice (free), mixed berries
Tea - 3 quorn sausages (free), SW wedges (free) and beans (free)

Well, I have stuck to the food plan and actually had no syns at all yet today - amazing for me. I'm really full too - not sure whether I'll have anything more than a Vimto lolly (2 syns).

I didn't manage to get to the greengrocers today so tomorrow will be decidedly low on fruit - I have some kiwis and satsumas but that's about it. I'm sure I won't get scurvy before Friday!

I'll probably have a jacket spud and beans in work for lunch but no idea what I'll have for tea yet - maybe something easy like pasta.

I'm determined to be good with syns this week as we've been invited to yet another flipping BBQ on Sunday - had a mild paddy about them with OH earlier - and I want to lose at least 1.5 lbs this week.

Whoever invented BBQs should be shot!!

Thanks for the replies. Those lollies are fantastic, they are not as solid as some cheap lollies, and they are huge, at least twice as big as a mini milk, probably 3 times the size and cost £1 for 6!!!!!!!
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

Ive had a bit of a dicey day today and Im not sure what happened P-P planning I think. That said I went for the healthies options I could really.

Cereal HEB & banana rasp & yog
Lunch waitrose beef sandwich ( god knows) ( at this stage I was thinking red- uising the bread as HEB but then had crisps 5 plus dried fruit from holland & Barret!? Diet coke
    Pah.
Anyway having fish, potatoes and veg tonight.

I was looking rather thin today so I am not too bothered.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

  • Hello everyone!

    Newbie here hoping to join?

Did do Slimming World a few years ago and never really got to grips with it!

Tried WW for past few months with limited success as i was always hungry!!

So have come back to SW doing it by myself. Still got all my books and stuff to help me with updates from good old google.

Think ive got my head round most of it, but Extra Easy takes a bit of believing you can eat like that an still lose weight! But by reading the posts on here you clearly can!

Only started on monday so a long way to go! :o:rotfl::rotfl:

I'm of to a lunchtime party on Sunday and I was rather hoping it would be a barbecue as I was thinking chicken and salad. Now you've got me worrying...

On the lolly discussion, would it be an abuse of syns to make HM lollies from undiluted NAS squash like Ribena? would it work?

I make my own Lollies with NAS squash, but I do dilute it down a bit as its quite strong if not
Im sure Ive read it on SW website or in the mag to make them this way.
