Todays plan looks like this...
B - Banana, melon, grape and pineapple covered in yogurt
L - Poached egg on toast with beans (hex b)
D - Sausage (quorn) and mash (made with milk and cheese) with carrots broccoli and sprouts
Snacks, fruit, yogurt,
For the hex a, am i allowed to mix them? like with my mash i use a splash of milk and the 28g of cheese (even tho it will feed 4 of us) or i struggle to use it up. I dont drink hot drinks or have cereal, so wouldnt use the milk and i hardly eat cheese.
What plan are you following?? Looks like a green day to me so you are allowed 2A and 2B choices.
And yes you can mix your choices. I often use 1.5A on cheese and 0.5A for milk for coffeeThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
To be honest ive not quite got my head around the red/green days properly yet, so i just say im doing ee every day lol. I really need to find the time to sit and try and get my head round it all. Just all anyone seams to talk about is the ee, so thats sunk in ok, but the other two confuse me0

I'm the same, some days though I think my meals are more suited to a green or a red, so I try and get my head around it, but it just confuses me. I was going to post up my menu plan for today, as Im sure its more green than EE, can anyone advise??
Brek: Yogurt & Banana
Lunch: HM quiche (no meat) and salad
Snack: 3 tangerines
Tea: Spag Bol made with quorn mince and veggies
HEA: Milk in tea
HEB: Will have my brown bread for supper toasted I think.
No meat involved at all, shall I change this to Green day, and have an extra HEB????
Also WI today, and after STS for the last 2 weeks, I have finally lost 2lb yayyyyyyyyyy which takes me to 12 stone, only need to lose a tiny bit and ill be 11stone something oh yeah, come on :T:T0 -
Hi everyone
Thank you consultant for a lovely new thread. Agree with antonia about the spring/summer being just around the corner. I might set myself a mini-target of 7lb to lose during March.
Have just got back from the gym and a sp (naughty I know) tells me I might get a STS this week which is absolutely fine considering we ate out last Thurs, I had a weekend away with 1 'naughty' meal and have only had 1 gym session in the last week too. Oh and it's my * week as well (Grrrr!) Watch this space next week
.
Today is Green:
B - 2 slices w/m Hovis (HEB1), jam & spread (3 syns), 1/2 grapefruit
L - Butternut squash soup, parsnip and leek cakes (2 syns), activia ff yoghurt,
D - Quorn lasagne with cheese (HEA1), white sauce (5 syns) and side salad
HEA2 - Milk
HEB2 - Not sure yet, probably use as a snack later this evening
Snacks - satsuma, pear, banana
It's tasting night tonight at WI so I'm going to make the falafel to take along - are they ok to eat cold or a bit yuk? Otherwise I'll pop them in a foil container to keep warm.Save £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -

I do mostly green days as i find them easier.
You can eat rice, pasta, potatoes etc. They are free, as are all fresh fruit and veg.
You get 2 HeA and 2 HeB choices.
Meat is synned on a green day or can be used as a B choice in measured quantities if you don't want bread/cereal etc.
Red is basically the opposite of green. You can eat all lean meats and most fresh fruit and veg except peas, sweetcorn, potatoes and i think parsnips. I may be wrong on the parsnips! Pasta, rice and potatoes are synned or can be used as HeB choice in measured quantities.

Thank You Consultant for the nice shiny new thread
Smargies are onion bhajis made with smash! Fantastic little snack as it has 1/3 superfree!
Smargies
Soften some onions in micro (or pan)
Meanwhile make some smash (or could you mashed pots but would have to squeeze them dry!) but quite dry! and mix in lots of curry powder (to taste)
Mix smash & onions together (when cool, you don't want burnt fingers!) and put dollops on baking tray (the messier the better, nice crispy bits! but not to big or will fall apart when taking out of oven!) and spray with fry light
Bake in over until ready
Sorry for the lack of measurements etc. i normally chuck it all together & see how it goes!:rotfl:
Hope everyone is doing well, i had a hiccup again yesterday - why do i sabotage myself?0 -

Hello everyone,
I'm a long time lurker on this thread. Time to jump in though as on hols for first week of Easter holiday, and would like to be lighter by then. Joined SW in July, lost a stone by Sept, but have not kept it up properly since then. Not going to class, but logging food and self-weighing.
One prob I do have though, are lunchtimes, as I always do EE and need porridge in the morning (have high cholesterol), so have used my A and B by nine o'clock. I like the free quiche, but not everyday obviously...
bf: porridge (a), skim milk (B), half banana
lunch: sw free quiche, rocket salad, vine tomatoes and balsamic, half cantelupe (?) melon with strawberries and 0% total yoghurt
dinner: penne, pesto, peas and parmesan (7 for pesto and parmesan?), more rocket, more melon, strawbs and total.
snacks: muller light, orange, apple0 -
A lovely new thread!....Thanks Consultant
Im just back from visiting the relatives....and I fear its been a not very SW friendly time in cantebury
Its very hard when someone else is doing the cooking to stay on plan (especially when you dont know them well enough to be too choosy about what you will & wont eat)..... and even harder when a homemade chocolate & fudge cake with pouring cream is put in front of you
, though the meal before it was 'fairly' good - a lovely roast dinner (but I did have roasties and proper gravy
) AND it was washed down with a couple of bottles of 'real beer' from.....would you believe a bruges brewery ha ha.
soooooo Im not looking forward to WI tomorrow -and I havent got a prayer of getting my shiney this week!!
Oh well it was nice to get away & meet another branch of the OH's family that I dont really know
Im on damage limitation today, loads of melon and a few prayers LOL :rotfl::rotfl:0
