The Slimming World "Countdown to Easter"

Autumnflower, you could always drink it neat...
Just had to pop in and share my delicious recipe, I am so chuffed with myself. This is my packed lunch for tomorrow:
tin of mixed bean salad, drained
a generous dollop of quark, mixed with a tsp very low fat mayo, and a tsp red pesto (also nice with green) and chopped fresh mint leaves.
Honestly ladies, mix that lot together and within a few hours all the flavours mingle to create a beeeyOUtiful dish. Ive got mine with lettuce.Only syns are in pesto and mayo, approx 3 in the whole dish.
As you can tell, I'm still going WILDLY off slimming world style food with Paul's eat whatever you like method.Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
Why do I do it to myself??
Its the million dollar question. Emotions? Boredom? To "treat" yourself because you've been on plan?
I reckon if we all worked out WHY we eat the way we do, we'd be more than half way there to fixing the problem for good.Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
Evening all,
Well i am back from my 2nd weigh in and I have lost 4 1/2lbs this week. That's a total of 11lbs in 2 weeks and I got slimmer of the week too :j Feeling quite motivated now and looking forward to the next week.0 -

I blame the men.... I was fine til I moved in with one!
Just sat my OH down to discuss his comfort eating. Mini eggs, krispy kreme doughnuts and stress at work do not mix! He's been going to the gym 3-5 times a week which is great, but then he complains he's hungry and is almost making the right choices (hummus) but also scoffing the chocolates. I calculated he's had close to 60 syns today mostly made up with half a pot of hummus and chocolate.
So I ran through the plan roughly. He knows about main meals as he eats the same stuff as me, I just need to adjust his lunches and cut out the snacks. I've given him a target of 25 syns tomorrow and left him with my book downstairs. He was looking through it when I came upstairs so that's good. He's put on a couple of lbs since he started going to the gym 5 weeks ago and that was when he told me he wanted to lose 2st! So I make that 2st 2lbs to go0 -
I blame the men too :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks for the mustard info Consultant, I couldn't see how mixing something with water would stop it being free, but then I thought of stewed fruit and was confused!
I've had a fairly good day today, EE again, maybe a little short on SFs:
B:NAS squash, HEB toast and beans, tea with HEA milk
L:Jacket with prawns and mayo and salad
D:cod, SW chips, mushrooms, tomatoes and mushy peas
I did have a latte out and not sure how light the mayo was (tasted light) but I reckon I had 20 syns to spare this week so I'm not worrying.0 -

I'm trying not to get too depressed over it (not easy).
Well done to all the losers and welcome to all the newbies. xx0 -
