DDD you can trade in for either other games, or a store gift card. They give slightly better prices than Game / Gamestation - but I always check on Ebay before I let them trade any in. One we thought might only be worth a tenner, was selling for £22 on Ebay! You can check the Asda website to see if your local store does it.

Evening all,
Happy birthday to Dazi and Jaxx, hope that its going well...
Sunny again here to-day, but didn't think it was as warm as yesterday, still hanging out clothes, 3 loads out to-day. Went to Aldi to do some shopping as they have pineapples, mange tout and sugarsnap all for €.69c each....love pineapple, so got 2.
Dinner to-night was fillet steak with mushrooms and wedges....very naughty but just felt like it, steak not my favourite fruit usually but enjoyed it to-night. We had a slice of spicy fruit bread for pudding....too nice really, can see myself having to make one every second day as OH really likes it.
Taplady...good on your mum to have the courage to move to where she wanted to be, you will miss her of course, but will be nice to be able to visit her.
Going to do a bit of knitting before I go to bed, still needing to restrict the amount I do and its driving me nuts!
Hugs to all....nothing more to add, I lead such a sad life most of the time.

Thank you, Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes, it means a lot to me as I live away from my family, especially this year as OH is away training too.
Had a phone call early this morning from DD and a little voice (DGD1)in the background singing happy birthday to me awwwwww. OH rang and told me where to find my hidden card, Mum rang too, all those phone calls before work!
Unfortunately the germy thing living at the back of my throat did invite his friends to join him and I have had a very sore throat and tight chest and been coughing all day.
Didn't spoil my day though, work was okish, didn't feel like working much so spent most of the day filing, its something you can do without too much effort :rotfl:had some nice cards from the girls at work.
After work met my DSD and we went to pub for a meal, she made me a lovely card and really put effort into the poems she wrote inside, we have had our ups and downs over the years but she even put all that into it, have to say it made me well up.
OS her today has been DW this morning and making my salad pot for work...thats it....birthday girl...don't do housework on my birthday!!!!whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Late again, nice day here today. It is dh birthday so I bought him a dab radio from JL so he can listen to his favourite radio station in any room. Been out for dinner to local pub, very nice it was too. Went to craft club for a workshop, doing a lavender field scene, looks ok so far, the lady that runs it made broccoli & Stilton soup & butternut squash soup & hm lemon drizzle cake so have not cooked anything today apart from a boiled egg for ds2 breakfast.
