Turkey burgers here.....minced turkey, an onion, carrot, red pepper, handfull of grated cheese some seasoning and an egg to bind - all in the blitzer and formed into burgers....I wrap them in foil and bung them in the oven to start off then a quick unwrap and finish on the griddle pan for nice seered bits.
Will serve with sweet potato wedges and sweetcorn.......Yums!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

We have made homemade pizzas. Some with ham, some with prawns
Yummy
I don't know why we don't make them more often... Soooo easy - I made the dough in the BM, used some passata I have had in the larder for ages, fresh basil and dried mixed herbs, some ancient whoopsied cheddar that had been in the freezer
Whoopsied frozen sopocka (like ham) and a small child's handful of prawns!
I'd love to work out how much they cost me
Definately under a quid to feed 3 of us :T
Hi Frugal,
Your pizza sounds lovely! We have a beef casserole using lots of veg from the bottom of the fridge....celery, carrots, parsnips, onions, leeks, swede and potatoes. It smells delicious.
I've added your thread to the daily thread where we talk about our old style days and the food that we're making.

Just heading out to Asda to return a broken PS3 game that DS2 had treated himself to a couple of weeks ago, it keeps freezing after half an hour  anybody need anything? x
A pound out of the till?
:rotfl: Sorry a family saying there
Just cooking kids fish fingers and chips, I am having chips and a YS steak pie that FIL dropped off a few weeks ago. H can fend for himself when he gets in
Going to eat that then it's bath time for the kids.
Got a cinnamon bake in the oven too as I needed a sweet treat for DS's lunchbox. It's world book day tomorrow and they can go in fancy dress of their fave character. Thankfully DS doesn't want to dress up so less trouble for me
Changed kids beds and vacced them as me and DD have a few bites so had to pop out and get flea treatment for the moggy. Our bed needs stripping and mattress is overdue for turning but I need H for that so will have to do that tomorrow night I think.
Candygirl - Hugs for you xxx
Tappers - Hope your mum enjoys Devon and don't miss her too much.
Quintwins - Sorry to hear about your damp problem and your wedding pics
Have a good evening all

Whoohoo for Noah!!
Well Asda went well.
The boys decided to take some games to trade in so we went on Ebay and looked to see how much the ones they wanted to trade in would fetch, and made a list, thinking that if they were offering around the same we would do that, and if not I would put them on Ebay on Friday. So we took the ones fetching between £1 and £5. We made £73!!!! :j:j:jBoys are over the moon, it comes in the form of an Asda giftcard, so DS1 bought a game has been after for ages, DS2 is getting one which comes out on Friday, and I got a couple of bits of shopping, and will give them the cash
(and the one DS2 took back was OOS so he has £25 burning a hole in his pocket now )
Off to get dinner now, having salad and falafel, which I have overcooked in the oven
and the rest of them are having HM sos rolls and spuds and beans. Day 3 of low carbing going well
Hope you are all OK. Penny Pincher if you are lurking, I do hope you are OK.

Still feeling ill
boss has been really good and sorted it so that I have someone else to drive the minibus for me next week (I'm on course locally next 2 days) so hopefully that will help.
Handed in uni assignment
and uni finished one hour early today
. Got home at 6pm and it was still daylight (just!!).
No OS really again today - just leftovers for tea and sorted recycling.
Have a good evening all
