and i only noticed that it was mouldy because i went to put something in the cupboard and it smelt real musty and when i lifted stuff out the whole back of the dressers in mouldy :( (like the rest of my house) but i'm more annoyed about my album thans anything else because it's such a special thing and now it's ruined :( it prob would have been worse but it had a velour box and dust bag, it's going to be expensive to replace

I actually went all girlie last night...he text me saying he'd just finished doing a job for his dad and was getting dinner from the chippy because it was late (8:30ish),i said that i should think about my dinner as i'd fed DD but not myself....fast forward 20 mins and hes at my door with tea :):) AND he'd gotten my favourite-apparently he remembered thats all i've ever ordered for years when we've been out with friends :D:D,didnt think he'd taken any notice of me before!! Hope you can get your photos sorted QT, it's such a shame when something so sentimental suffers damage.
JackieG - bet you are back by now, could have done with something 'nice' to cheer me up!
    Ooh, go you Honeybee!

Quite a bit of lounging about going on here, still carp tv helps! Got the washing in and put it on the airers to finish, cleaned the hen house and cooked myself a lovely stir fry. That's it OS wise for today, will make up the beds for DD and DS2 (coming to visit as DD will be home) tomorrow.

    Take care. XX

We have made homemade pizzas. Some with ham, some with prawns

    Yummy :D

I don't know why we don't make them more often... Soooo easy - I made the dough in the BM, used some passata I have had in the larder for ages, fresh basil and dried mixed herbs, some ancient whoopsied cheddar that had been in the freezer :D Whoopsied frozen sopocka (like ham) and a small child's handful of prawns!

I'd love to work out how much they cost me :D Definately under a quid to feed 3 of us :T
Putting these winter preps here so I don't forget!

Today we have lasagna padded out with lentils, oats and carrots, along with jacket spuds and salad. It smells yummy, but dh has just rung from work and I have to go to the post office now, so that'll take me a good half hour or more. I will definitely be ready for it when I get in. My tummy is rumbling!!!!!!

    afternoon!

back for a couple of days in sunny Devon! (was freezing!)

Mum is now a resident of Devon. She's settled in her flat, was hard work carrying it all up 2 flights of stairs and I feel like I've worked hard in the gym! aching muscles galore plus I didn't sleep - was on a blow-up bed and was freezing!
Be glad to get in my hot bath tonight and sleep in my own bed.

Seems strange coming back without her but I think she's happy there.:)
Havent caught up with the thread so hope everyone's ok.
Tea for the others here is sausage casserole and new pots. I'm off to SW so will have a veggie burger, cauli cheese and a few chips later on when I get back.
    (((hugs))) if you need one!
