Unfotunately, we didn't eat till 9.30 as I finished my fundraiser pastry first. They were nice though - save you one for next time when I'm not making 12 mini fruit pasties and 12 fruit tarts on the same day.;)Mortgage Free x 1 03.11.2012 - House rented out Feb 2016

Fundraiser was good - despite us just having one stall at someone elses fair (and they didn't have much of a turnout) we made over £50 - (don't know exactly how much). We sold everything we baked - so all good there.
Had quite a stressful weekend again with no rest as I didn't sleep Saturday night and was doing food for my god daughter's birthday party yesterday (and then at the party with a load of screaming kids - which didn't do much for my sanity - but they had a good time).
Woke up this morning feeling really carp and even considered ringing in sick...but I'm not one for doing that unless I really can't get out of bed.
Will be taking it easy tonight (after putting air in my tyres on the way home, picked up some cough medicine for DH and done the Charity wages!). Nice easy tea of HM Chilli from the freezer, Jacket Spuds and Salad.
Need to do an inventory of the freezers again before big shop this week - the chest freezer still seems full? how can this be? Will do this tomorrow when I feel a bit better (hopefully).
Need to sort out a list of outgoings to take to the mortgage people on Saturday and I should get DH to do the same with his personal bills - this is probably a Thursday job.
Hope everyone had a good weekend - looking forward to next weekend already which hopefully won't be as hectic.

Hi MCI.... I can tell you that after 5 weeks of looking forward to my quiet weekend, I thoroughly enjoyed it but spent most of it trying to catch up on washing, cleaning and life!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0

I know exactly what you mean - trying to catch up on washing and cleaning during the course of this week so I can at least have a bit of time with DH this weekend.

Charity Wages - check.
Tyres blown up - check (DH went and did it for me last night as when I got to the garage 2 people pushed infront of me and I was too angry to stick around).
Cough medicine - check.
Tonight I need to have a tidy round, sort the washing out and check what we have in the freezer.
Was wondering how I can split my big shop so I get the £5 off the £40 shop...going to check out the dates applicable and see if I can be bothered to do it that way.
Tonights tea is haddock and prawns with pasta sauce (one from a jar:eek: - it was on special and I only buy one brand when I do buy one - LG), pasta and some veggies from the fridge. Not too much effort involved which is a good job as I'm still tired.
Patiently waiting for payday now.

Doh1 That's where I went wrong... I now have a nice clean house but no one to enjoy it with as DH is away with work this week... oh well at least it'll stay cleaner and tidier for longer!!!
You bought pasta sauce!??! Only joking... I had a yellow sticker microwave meal last night - most not like me!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Had confirmation that we made £58.70 at the fundraiser - not too bad all things considered.
Raised another cashback claim with £co for the hotel/airport car parking - another, we shall wait and see.
Need to get petrol tonight, but Pay Day tomorrow so will be ok. I am horrified that I need to put my budget up for this again to £70 for the month. Roll on December when I'm away for a week and off over Christmas - makes the petrol go much much further.
Have been putting together a mealplan for next month, but had trouble excavating the freezer as the light fitting has gone wonky under the stairs and there is no light at the moment - managed to figure a few bits out, but failed to delve into the depths.
Found alot of VERY old bits of bread - haven't got shot of it yet, but I think it will unfortunately be the bin for those.
Realised that splitting my Mr T shop will mean I only get double points on one half! But the saving is better than the points that will be collected so going to go for it.
Tonights dinner is Roast Chicken with all the trimmings.
