Well done :). Off for a wee lie down after reading that :D.

Just been to take a dress back to Debenh&ms and got soaked!!!

Mealplan at the weekend went totally to pot.

We were suppossed to be going out for something to eat on Friday and I was really looking forward to it. Got back from the vets at 7.30pm (had to wait ages) and DH had had 3 cans with the neighbours! So, going out for food was cancelled as he can't eat much when he's had a drink!

So, had a chinese - which I had to pay for as DH hadn't been to the bank (but he did walk and fetch it).

While they were having there cans it was arranged that they would go out for a couple of beers and a curry on Saturday night - DH was hoping on Sat that they would cry off, but they didn't. So, I had they other half of my chinese while watching strictly.

I wasn't really angry cos I don't really get like that, but I have told him (with a big smile on my face) that he's got to make it up to me...I'm sure he will - he's a good husband really! :rotfl:

Anyway, started the Christmas shopping yesterday

So, tonights tea is HM Lasagne & Salad.

There will be portions for the freezer  and I'm going to make a Chilli and some Minced Beef & Onion pasties too as its a large pack of mince. Still haven't bought any meat... and at least there is some room in the freezer to put the extras now.

    Hope everyone had good weekends.

  • £co from booking holiday hasn't tracked...is there anything I can do about this?

Made the Lasagne last night - really enjoyed it - usually make with turkey mince, but this one is beef. Froze two portions for another day. Also made the chilli - enough for 2 meals (now in the freezer). Put aside the filling for the pasties and froze that - didn't have time or inclination to make pastry last night. Sat down at 8.20pm.

Believe it or not, there is still some room left in the freezer and we are continuing to work our way through it.

DH is taking me out tonight after the fiasco that was the weekend - he won't tell me where we are going, but I have a suspicion that it is a Spanish Tapas place that he's been to with a friend for lunch, but I haven't been - but we will see.

Duck Casserole planned for tomorrows tea - going to get most of the prep done tonight before we go out and then just bung everything in the slow cooker tomorrow - need to figure out my timer I bought a couple of years ago so that the slow cooker goes on at 1pm rather than me putting it on in the morning and cooking the food to death!

My cold is nearly gone (I think) feel ok some of the time, then carp later in the day. Trying to keep it at bay!

My colleague at the Charity I do work for has got a meeting with a funder today so fingers crossed for that one.

Hope everyone is ok this week.

Certainly would - we struggle so much at this time of year - be great to have some stability for a change.

Need as many fingers crossed as possible - thanks for yours:)
