Believe me, there was alot of jokes going round the office when I got in. They managed to twist the situation into me being locked up instead of being locked in the house! One of my colleagues asked if DH had been reading 50 shades! if you get my meaning!;)Mortgage Free x 1 03.11.2012 - House rented out Feb 2016

Brother had to come and resuce me - so was late for work!
Last year my OH locked me OUT of the house and I had to spend the night in my car.
He left his door key in the lock and went to bed, and couldn't be woken.
He sure had some making up to do.0 -

:rotfl:but not at the time I guess!
DH has promised to pay for and cook tea on Wednesday for me.
Not much to report really. Finally transferred some money back to my current account so I can get my car tax and the insurance dd is covered.
Going out with a friend tonight for an extremely belated birthday meal (my birthday was in March) - DH is going to drop me off so I can have a drink.
Tomorrow's dinner will be paella - have seafood in freezer, rice and tinned tomatoes in the storecupboard - so all good there.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hello guys and thanks to everyone who keeps reading.
Going to be a tight couple weeks moneywise as trying to keep a bit back for OP.
Will definately need petrol by the end of the week (again!), but should be ok on the food front as there is plenty in the freezer and in the cupboards.
Got a bit of cash, so trying to eek that out over the next fortnight - its been a long time since I've had to be THIS careful.
Anyway, had a nice evening out with my friend on Friday - we had a good laugh - nice to catch up. Only bought one round of drinks, so quite a cheap night in all.
Another friend and I are doing another buffet at the end of September - but will be mates rates, but a good advertising opportunity and will get a little bit out of it (every little helps as they say). Its our friend's daughter's 30th Birthday and she is having a Masked Ball - so canape style, posh bits all the way...nice chance to show off what we can do, but quite fiddly. Not really doing anything we haven't done before, so should be fine.
Must get car tax sorted.
Also, I have noticed that I didin't every receive my loyalty M&S voucher for staying with M&S energy - so must get on to them. A £10 voucher is a £10 voucher!
Tonight dinner is fish, rice and a bought sauce!!!!! (dill and citrus - sounded nice and it was on offer).

M&S Energy must have picked up on what I was thinking, because ther was a £10 voucher waiting for me when I got home last night (feel a bit guilty now for sending the e-mail).
Tea went out the window last night as was talking to the neighbours till 9.40 last night - so just shoved some wedges and fish parcel things in the oven.
Fish, rice and sauce has be transferred to tonights tea.
Really looking forward to DH cooking tomorrow - will make a nice change, but I will have to go in the front room and sit on my hands as he doesn't like me in the kitchen when he's cooking.
Got quite a few vouchers in the drawer:
£10 Morrisons vouchers (from buying petrol)
£50 Perfume Shop voucher (birthday pressie)
£20 M&S Vouchers (birthday & M&S Energy loyalty)
Also got some Euros left from on holiday - I know I won't get that much back for them - but could do with some of the cash - might split it half and half and keep some for our next holiday to Europe.

Got £2.50 worth of 50ps to go into Penguin Pot - going to count that up at the weekend and go and pay in next week in anticipation of overpaying when I get paid.
DH is cooking tonight, so will take the time to sort out my car tax online (rarely turn the computer on at home) and sort out the charity wages - new thing for me - wish me luck.
Got to get some petrol tomorrow as anticipated.
Not alot else on the MSE front and life just plodding on at the moment.

My tea last night was delicious and for once I really enjoyed not cooking.
DH wasn't very well this morning - but I don't think it was the food as I am perfectly fine. He's feeling better now - but I think he's taking a couple of hours off later on flexi so he can get some sleep.
£2.50 for penguin is now £2 as had to give someone some change! I think there will still be enough to get up to £40 for the OP.
Tonight I'm going to do something plain like chicken fried rice for us if DH is still feeling a bit off.
Off to Herr A tonight.
Have done my meal plan for the week and the shopping list is only small - anticipate spending about £13-15 in total.
Car tax done too.
I checked my bank account and had forgotten about 2 direct debits, but it looks like I should stay in credit by the skin of my teeth this month. Should have something left in my other current account to put towards the OP - but don't know quite how much yet.
Hope all is well with everyone.

Quick update and yes I do know what time it is. Not feeling very well so came downstairs so not to disturb DH as he is still feeling a bit off - does that make sense?
Got the cat purring in my ear, but its nice to have the company.
Shopping came in under £15 even though I ended up buying a couple of items for other people, so pleased there.
DH has put some more 50ps in penguin, so really must check out how many we have now for the OP.
Bought £5 worth of savings stamps at Mr T - total now £34.
Used up some bits and pieces and did chicken and bacon egg fried rice for tea - night before DH just wanted a plain old bacon sandwich which I thought was a strange choice when you are feeling sick, but hey ho.
Either sausage pasta bake or posh sausage and mash tonight.
We are going to our friends in Wales on Sunday for the day and they have insisted on doing us breasfast and dinner, so no spends there! lol.
Hope everyone has a good bank holiday weekend - don't want to wish my life away, but roll on payday!

Cat is either not well or stressed out by this male cat who is persistantly coming in the house, eating her food and spraying!
We are fed up with it and the cat is upset - she didn't even ask for her breakfast this morning.
The trouble is catching this little bu***r. DH want to trap him and soak him (not hurt him) - so he knows what he'll get if he keeps coming in.
Going to get so of that spray stuff for stressed cats later to see if that might help the cat calm down. She was still fussy this morning, but did not move off the cushion and as I said, didn not ant her breakfast. Going to keep an eye on her as if the symptoms get worse, it could be a urine infection rather than stress - but the situation is not helping any off us at the moment. I am fed up with cleaning! and I'm worried about the cat.
Anyway, in other news!
Had a nice day in Wales - the weather was lovely (for a change) and had a nice time visiting with our friends.
Counted up the 50ps and have £43.50 - so will be paying £40 in this week to help with my almost no existant OP this month.
Found a bag of £1 coins that I had squirrelled away to get Mr T saving stamps and had forgotten about - so I will get another £5 worth when I go shopping this weekend.
Going to treat myself to a haircut on Saturday (after payday) as I haven't had a cut for 10 weeks and my fringe is like cousinitt's at the moment! DH has offered to pay - but I will work my money out when I get paid and see - but it was nice of him to offer.
Hope everyone had a good bank holiday weekends.
