Me too! I look forward to reading it from cover to cover!

Won't quite pay off the kitchen at the moment as we need some cash free for over spends.

£1.41 added to HF - interest from current account for last month.

Kitchen has been delivered. Electrician is now coming tomorrow. Dishwasher being delivered between 12 and 4 pm. Gas fitter coming at 4pm.

DH is currently getting the last of the floor tiles up. Hopefully dishwasher will come early in the slot so we can go and sort tiles. Sink and taps chosen last night - just need to order - discussion with kitchen fitter required first. Knobs for kitchen doors also to be ordered off fleabay.

Washing up done (in the bath), washing to be sorted to take down MILs and then on with paperwork.

    Happy Saturday peeps!

Dishwasher came while I was typing last post! (So excited!)

Been and chosen and paid for wall tiles. Chosen floor tiles - currently half price (whoop!) and will order via internet on click and collect so I can get cash back (hopefully).

Sorting some paperwork into decades (starting in the 60s) so I can see what needs to go and what needs to stay for now (I hasten to add this is our family friend's paperwork not mine!)

  • £82.75 spent this past week from the joint account on the kitchen.

We treated ourselves to a quick lunch in the pub yesterday from the joint account! (£9.18).

Accounts updated - so I know where we stand for the week and how much available cash we have for the rest of the kitchen.
Off out in the garden for a while as DH is just finishing getting the tiles off from round the window.

    Take care all.

    Plastering has started.

Socket for fridge had been forgotten - area chiselled out ready for electrician tomorrow.

Charity work completed at lunchtime for meeting tonight.

Cottage Pie from the freezer for tea tonight.

Not much else. Wishing you all a good week.

Plastering is now plaster boarding - should see a difference when I get home tonight.

DH has ordered a skip for tomorrow and he's doing the lawns this afternoon. (Busy man!)

Nice walk at lunch time and my shoes have been taken in for heeling.

Salmon for tea tonight and we are treating ourselves to a night out tomorrow (house up to it's neck, dust everywhere, going stir crazy = meal out!) - don't know why I'm trying to justify it - we have been very good really.

No money news apart from it's being spent! Pay day next week and rent money comes in - so will be looking forward to doing another over payment!

    No salmon for tea!

DH stung by a wasp and had severe reaction.

Calls to NHS and emergency doctors appointment at the hospital at 12.15 last night.

Much better now, but very worrying - he got stung in the head and his eyes, nose and lips swelled up and he had hives all over his body. Took 3 medical professionals to persuade him he needed to go to the hospital. Anti-hystemine has worked but he's still feeling poorly this morning.

Late to work - but they are fine with it.

Skip coming today and I've told him to keep it steady - his nephew is coming to help fill it - so hopefully he will be sensible.

    In other news...

We have walls again in the kitchen. One last bit to plasterboard and then the units can start going in.

DH feeling alot better but still has a headache.

Skip hasn't arrived yet:eek: DH not happy - he's got things to do and he can't go and do them in case the skip arrives - he's going to chase it up again shortly.

We were supposed to be going out for tea tonight, but we will see how DH feels - we also need to use the salmon up from last night (though it should be ok till tomorrow).

    Happy Hump Day!
