Welcome home, glad you enjoyed your holsEarly retired - 18th December 2014

I soooo did not miss work while I was away...it's dull as dishwater here today (especially as the sun is shining outside)...but I know it pays the bills.
It doesn't seem to have the friendliness it had a few years ago. No one is really chatting - it's odd for our place - something is going on - but I shall grin and carry on to keep the pennies rolling in.
I really enjoyed our holiday. DH was 'off the hooks' for a couple of days, but apart from that it was great.
We had a lovely Wedding Anniversary and went to a fantastic restaurant arranged by the holiday rep for us - very reasonable too for the quality of food and the wine and water was all included in the price!
We went on one half day trip up the cable cars, round the botanical gardens and down the mountain in a wicker basket!!! Yes, it's as scary as it sounds - but fun too.
The food was fantastic and the entertainment in the hotel was really good on a couple of nights. The hotel complex was really good and they catered for everything you needed - nothing too much trouble.
The main thing is that we relaxed! I read two books and managed not to get burnt as the weather was glorious. Could have done with about another 3 days holiday - that would have been perfect.
I'm back to work today and DH has the day off - I really don't like it when he does that.
Shopping has been bought for the week, but we have decided to go out tomorrow night to sort of finish the holiday off (wasn't feeling too well on Saturday when we got back).
Back to business as usual, charity meeting tonight.
Turkey Stir Fry on the menu for tea - a far cry from our mixed fish cataplana we had on Thursday evening!
Hope everyone is well.
