I understand about the certificate thing.

A few years ago, Mr Goldie had to send off his birth certificate for something, and the people we sent it to mislaid it.

I was going loopy, as it was such a significant piece of paper. (Although Mr Goldie himself wasn't so bothered) We had to raise a complaint about it, and they had to turn their office upside down - but they did find it.

I hope your marriage certificate turns up - it's probably around somewhere, and will be found when you least expect it

    Raining:(

Had my nails (hands and feet - UV set stuff) done last night:j (rare treat) and hair cut tomorrow - £45 for the lot! Won't be happening on a regular basis, but really enjoyed my couple of hours in the salon.

Still busy, hope to have an easier night tonight so I can catch up with everyone.

Ooh, nice new dining room furniture. With things like that it's worth making the investment, as they will last for a long time.

We got ours shortly after we moved to this house, so it must be getting on for 25 years old.

If I'm honest, it's getting a bit dated, and it'd be nice to change, but it's still in good condition and perfectly functional, so it's got years left yet.

Our sofas are looking quite tired now, and so is the living room carpet, so if we were to buy anything new, it'd be those, but not just yet

Good luck with your busy week
