CHICKEN (only) Stir fry was lovely - used up the last of my oyster sauce, last of my noodles and I'm on my last bottle of sweet chilli sauce OMG! I feel a trip to the Chinese supermarket coming on! (low on prawns too!)
Packed load of veggies into the stir fry - spinach, carrots, courgettes, spring onions, ginger, garlic and mushrooms...
Bit done up the allotment last night - tops taken off a large section of ground - now to start digging! Apart from giving me valuable time by myself (which I never seem to have), working on the allotment gives me a couple of hours of exercise and badly needed fresh air after being cooped up in the office all day. Although I look at the weeds and shudder sometimes - I really am grateful for the benefits of this little piece of land.
Preparations underway for fundraiser tomorrow - brought the prizes to work today to wrap during lunchtime (as I forgot to take the paper home last night). Got to leave work at 4.30 tomorrow so I can get back - fundraiser starts at 6pm. Tonight I will bake a dozen fairy cakes as prizes - shouldn't take long - will bake then go up the allotment while they cool, then decorate and pack up.
2 more 50ps into the penguin yesterday. Need to transfer £48 from my other account back into my current account to cover my purchase of a 1TB portable hard drive for DH (late wedding anniversary present) and I still need to pay my expenses cheque in.
Keeping up with the healthy eating (ish) - Lunch yesterday was Subway salad with extra avocado (only thing I managed to grab yesterday before bolting out the house) and HM salad today (using HG lettuce from the garden).
Meal plan is going quite well at the moment too - tonight is Fishcakes with roasted vegetable cous cous (more vegetables than cous cous).

Wow...that match was mad last night!
I've got Argentina left in the sweep - so I'll be supporting them tonight! If they go through I'll be guaranteed some money! I can only hope...

Couldn't go up the allotment as it was P**ing down.
However, brightened my day making kiddie fairy cakes for tonight - 2 dozen made and stashed in my colleagues office as it's cooler in there - don't need melted buttercream yet! All other prizes wrapped and ready to go.
DH will be cooking tonight's tea of Roast Chicken and all the trimmings (from the mealplan) - cutting down on the carbs by having half sweet potato roasties and half normal.
Happy hump day everyone.

PS Mummy cat is doing well after her operation. Hoping that she will gel a bit better with the other pets now she hasn't got raging hormones. lol.Mortgage Free x 1 03.11.2012 - House rented out Feb 2016

It's not huge - but even if Argentina lose, I will get £20! (for a £5 stake) - better than a kick in the teeth. (£30 for the winner).
Good thing is, out of 10 of us who work here, there are only 2 girls (me included) and we are both in the final - Girl Power! :rotfl:(Makes a nice change).

DH cooked a lovely chicken dinner last night. Pity I wasn't that hungry.
Will be using the LO chicken up tonight.
Found 2 x 50ps in my purse which I will put into the Penguin pot when I get home.
Not feeling the best at the moment - but I am sure it will pass.
Shopping list done for on the way home. May leave work early if I don't feel any better.
Morrocan Style Chicken Risotto planned for tonight.
