Aren't you meant to keep new cats in separate rooms for something like a week, never meeting, but getting their scents intermingled? That's what we did when Mrs E's folks got two new cats. I can't say it was a complete success, but they've stopped fighting now (6 months later!)

    Hi Ed

They have been kept apart since mummy cat had the kittens and she's been in the house so her scent has been there for Mr C Cat to pick up. He wasn't happy and started marking his territory I the house and when MIL brought them together mummy cat took offence - she's the boss!

Hoping the feliway will help - at least with Mr C Cat marking his territory.

Couple of hours up the allotment last night.

Salmon dish was delish - will be doing that again.

My £co hasn't tracked yet from buying the feliway!

    Still no deposits sorted.

    Work still manic.

Posh sausage and mash using sausages from the lake district tonight.

    Happy Hump Day everyone.

Thanks guys! Didn't know whether to apply for it or not seeing as we are saving to get another mortgage. But mortgage free for the time being is still a great feeling.

Still alcohol free and apart from last Friday I haven't really missed it. (Had a small chocolate instead as I was dead racked off due to boss at work). Just over 3 weeks now!

Sticking fairly well to the mealplan and the shopping is coming in at below £30 a week for a top up shop. Five week months are awkward as you tend to start to run out of things week 4!

Healthy eating is going fairly well too - only that one mouthful of chocolate on Friday and I'm having salad for lunch 4 days a week.

Not been up the allotment as I am under doctors orders not to bend or exert myself - my friends are taking care of it for me and DH has promised we can go up one night next week and he will do some digging for me (while I supervise hehe). I miss the 'me' time and not being able to do too much is not sitting well with me. But I must do what I'm told for once.

DH had just brought me a cuppa and a sausage sandwich (the un-healthy treat of the week), so I hope everyone is having a good weekend and I'll try to keep a bit more up to date next week.

Well done for being alcohol free. What differences do you notice, if any?

Sleeping better has got to be the main one - even though it wasn't too bad unless I had more than 2 glasses!

I have also noticed less cellulite in my legs - it's still there, but less (you see I may be slim, but still have the dreaded orange peel!)

I am amazed actually that I haven't missed it more - but, I have tried to avoid social situations where alcohol is involved.
