No Buying Toiletries in March Challenge
Comments

Moring all - UU a No7 lipstick in Bare. Have hardly ever used up a lipstick, so it seems like quite a hardcore no toiletry thread thing to do:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I like it a lot, but don't think I'll be buying it for a while, I have a lipstick mountain to use up.
:T:T:T
I've never fully used up a lipstick nor eyeshadow! Well done you.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

This is post - wash so I think we can conclude that I didn't smell stale to start with.Quite how they justify £18.00 for 300 ml is beyond me.
Some ins to report:
Having used up the huge S&G bottle it was time to restock (only gym kit shower cream by Nivea and a Radox one at home. I've decided to start using soap again rather than shower gel. I bought the L'Occitane milk shea butter soap for £4 - so far nice, it's nice, fresh baby soap kind of smell too. Haven't tried it in the shower yet. I wonder how long it'll last. Also bought some Crabtree & Evelyn spa soap. I keep thinking that using soap has got to be better than throwing away non recyclable plastic tubes plus easier for travel. Will see how long this lasts
This is a real splurge but...Laura Mercier secret camoflage - it's a heavy duty concealer - you have 2 colours you blend together. Lisa Eldrige (a make up artist) raves about it so I thought I'd give it a go. It was pricey but looks like it could last ages. Will have a play with that later. Looked at a set the counter was selling for around £40 - looked lovely except the eye shadows so didn't get tempted.
Also bought a L'oreal professional range (hairdressers stuff) hair treatment. Hair is looking a very dry and that cheap rubbish "TREATMENT" from B**ts did nothing but make my hair look a mess.
Didn't buy anything I didn't need - wow this thread has made me grow up!
Anyone up for a pamper session this evening? I could do with tidying my eyebrows, have a lovely shower, putting some hair mask on and then taking a nap!:ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Hi everyone, hope your enjoying the sunshine and having a good weekend.
Some UU’s for me;-
BS raspberry scrub – smelt lovely but the pips were annoying and the bath resembled a blood bath after use so wnba as prefer the S&G ones, which I have in my stash ready to use. Agree I prefer the tubs too for scrubs!
James Brown intensive conditioner – think I need to leave on longer but not bad, although not sure on the smell, one more in the stash to use. Wba if on offer, although my HG is aussie three minute conditioner which smells lovely.
Going to pack up my box ready for sending to give & make up – so will have lots of outs including lots of body lotions, as have loads accumulated from all the gift packs and if honest don’t tend to use them much. Sold seven on ebay too as no way that I would use them in two years let alone one!
Nearly forgot one in being the no7 hair spray for the summer, cost a £1 with voucher so will wait for a proper sunny day and test it out.
Decided enough was enough and that I needed to get my hair cut, its been six months and my hair is stupidly long so roll on appointment and fingers crossed will be more manageable after that.
So nearly half way through the month and loads of stuff used up and only one proper in and about four via way of magazine so not bad at all, at this rate wont have any stash left!

I have a UU to report :j the Tesco bath creme has all gone but instead of buying more i've decanted a bottle of the Wilkos's shower creme into the bottle. The bath creme i WBA because it's cheap enough for my heavy handed eldest Son to use without costing me a fortune. It also smells nice and is bubbly.
I've got a splutterer too. The Johnson's baby moisturising cream i've been using as hand and foot cream has been cut in half. My 5yr old Son saw me using it on my feet this morning so he had to have a try too, but , he didn't like the feeling and wiped it off with kitchen roll. He did tell me i was a clever Mummy for cutting it open to get the rest out.
I keep meaning to say the Wilko's facewash i'm using at the moment that was half price at only 25p is really good. I'm prone to spots but haven't had one (touch wood) since i started using it. I've got a feeling it's been discontinued though cause it was all being sold off (hence me buying 8 bottles).

Morning ladies,
Before I confess, what Hello Kitty BB are you all going on about?
)
I saw 50/75ml tins of Hello Kitty cherry and strawberry body butter in Poundland, price obvious!
The tins are very cute - in fact just the sort of tin my grand-daughter would like for her little bits and bobs if Nanny (moi) used up the body butter first .... does that sound convincing?:rotfl:
Although I'm not sure if I want to smell like sweets!
Having got the measure of my cleaner, (I hope) I've just transferred dregs of Tesco tea tree conditioner from what looked like an almost-empty bottle that she would chuck to a little travel bottle. A big bottle biting the dust, which is always pleasing, isn't it - bathroom a little less cluttered.
The big bottles seem to hold quite a lot in the 'shoulders' - what I thought was 2 or 3 more uses looks like 4 or 5.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Morning ladies,
Daly Night Cream £5 from £12 (the SA commented that it was so good her husband had taken to using it as well and she'd bought more as she really liked it-so I picked up another one which I might give to my mum) - this I did need as per an earlier post - a Clinique freebie I had reacted with my skin.
Pedicure Socks £3 (Full price) - again needed these as can't find mine
)
Which clinique was this? just asking as I think I have had a reaction to this too? cheers.
Not to worry about the ins, as they are bargains they almost dont count!0 -
I had a bit of an odd experience today. I was leaving for my first gym sessions since the operation (naughty naughty ,I know) when my flatmate spotted me. She looked at me as if I had freshly risen from the dead and asked me if I was alright. I answered in the affirmative and enquired why she looked so shocked and her answer was " YOU'VE LOST SOOOOO MUCH WEIGHT. And you're mega pale'.
So yay for losing weight, but nay for looking carp!
Back on topic- a UU at the gym, a spa therapy body lotion- wiba - no, I don't like coconuts!.

I love washing my car - I think it looks awesome clean and I think about all the calories I'm burning :A
I dont!! Especially when its cold like today. However dd2 wants money, so shes cleaning it at this very moment!!Mind you its her fault the car's dirty anyway - from the muddy track I have to drive down to get to the riding school.
Tried out the Elle Macpherson stuff today. not sure about the shower gel - it smelt like something OH would use, but love the body butter
Got some splutterers but no UUs to report yet.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
had a couple of UU's :j
champneys hand cream- wnba. Quite nice and thick but smelt of rotten oranges:eek:
aveeno body lotion-wba. My HG but I will buy the shea butter version when my stash is finished
oh and I have just spotted the avon sos hand cream for £1 in the reps clearance. I know it's someone's HG...:rotfl:Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -
A UU S&G Scrub your nose in it - or not as the case was as it brought me out in spots so I have used it on my body. Very tingly is all I can say WNBA.
Went to the BS today and spent my Groupon voucher and got the following
3 x shower gels
1 x edt White Musk
1 x Vit E moisture cream
1 x Seaweed Pore perfector
1 x Vit C microdermabrasion (free cos I spent £15 on skincare)
1 x 50ml Coconut Body Butter (free cos I spent £40)
And hubby paid the extra as a treat so got all that for my £9.00!
I have had a rough week at work so yesterday I also caved and have ordered the S&G bundle from Mr B's. I wont be needing anything for a very long time!
I did also manage to get another 3 mags with the Clinique stuff this week as well.
I shall now go and sit on the naughty step.0
