I only bought 1 glamour mag with the dramatically different moisturiser. I asked my mum to pick up a copy for me as I didn't have a chance to go. She went at noon and there was a single copy left in a large sainsbury's:eek: I wanted the moisture surge or the moisturiser as I have no moisturiser in the stash :j

Well I signed up last month to the mag, six issues for £3 which seemed like a bargain for me, especially with the free gifts - mine came this morning but it came with mascara and to be honest its pretty rubbish, just looked clumpy, my 50p mascara from bodycare is better, am somewhat tempted to go hunt for the lipgloss because Im desperate for some more as my last clinique mini is at the end of its life now....there again I got a £5 voucher to spend on Amazon and it has to be spent today.....really no idea what to get...saw a cosmetic set for £4.50 but I know I don't need it!

    Welcome amurphy!

Please don't tell me I'm the only regular not buying Glamour???!!!!
I have bought it in the past, but it's not very me, and I have little time for pleasure reading, so tend to stick to books. Usually ones I've got free from Amazon.

I have been successful (or a failure in the challenge!) with my Glamour mission today... lol.

How many has everyone else bought, just out of interest? :D

None as of yet, but that's only because I've been too lazy to leave the house today :rotfl:

    Some UU to report:

Impulse INto Glamour body spray - love it and will definitey buy again, think I have a couple in the stash

Liz Earle conditioner (small size) - really like this, but I just chcked the website and it's £7.65 for the full size, now I know I'm tight, but that does seem a little excessive IMO. I would buy again if it came in a good value set. Incidently, on the site there's a good offer for 2 x full size cleanse and polish, 1 x toner, 1 x moisturiser, 2 x muslins and a bag for £41. Clearly I am not going to buy this :rotfl:

Simple face wipes - not that fussed about really, I only really use them to cleanse my face quickly before using a face mask, so the cheap ones do the job just as well

Palmers Coconut Oil formula conditioning hair treatment - there was a lot of it! Haven't dried my hair yet, so not sure of the effect. Smelt lovely though!

Um what IS Glamour? I am guessing some form of magazine, the only ones I tend to buy are those that have recipes in them :o

Welcome amurphy & Jezminda - pull up a chair and start listing your stash - we are here to [STRIKE]be nosey[/STRIKE] help :p
.....BUT and this is my query - if I send dh to buy the other three products that I want and then give the magazines and free gifts to me does this count as buying in?!!

Ah! well! Thats a whole big MSE question you've got going there - it all depends on how combined your finances are - see if it was me and I sent OH to buy them then it would be just the same as if I was buying them because I would have to give him the money - BUT if he chose to buy them for me out of his monthly spending cash (no - not pocket money :rotfl:) then HE would have paid for them and they are then a GIFT :p (Still an IN though either way :D)

Popped into town today - via the hospital to have some blood tests done :( - and spent £36 in Boots  £30 was on a gift card to put away for next xmas 75% off sale so doesn't count :rotfl:

My IN's for today: (ha! should be SIN's :rotfl:)
Boots Expert Intensive Conditioner Treatment (tub) - 63p on Clearance
Boots Expert Sensitive Scalp Conditioner - 50p on Clearance (and technically for OH but I will use it once my current bottle has run out so will be good and count it)
    Boots Vit E 2-in-1 Cleanser
    Boots Vit E Toner
Boots Cucumber 3 Minute Clay Mask - on 3-4-2 so £5.04 for three
    Derma Vio Night Cream - £1 - £land
    Hello Kitty Cherry Body Butter - 31 - £land

The cleanser and night cream I NEED (see UU's) The conditioning treatment and the face mask will be the only ones in my stash after tonight - so have justified them :p The toner - well, I'm using my toner tabs but fancied a change so will use up whats in my bottle and the use the Vit E one - and the Hello Kitty Body Butter was an aaahhhh! moment and the only really 'shouldn't have bought it don't need it at all' purchase :o

Still no 'Clean Mary' anywhere - and is not on the Boots website either   Not sure what to do with my No7 Voucher now - keep it or bin it?

I did pick up two copies of that mag and got the eye cream and the make-up remover but had to go into 4 stores to find them! Everywhere had the others but only WHSmith had the ones I wanted. I wasn't intending on buying any of them but when I sorted my travel kit yesterday (to use the night cream) I noticed I didn't have any make-up remover, eye-cream or shampoo left so bought these deliberately - and stuff for my travel kit don't count as purchases :p However - should I say at any point before the end of May (when I go on holiday) that I have bought something for my travel kit feel free to pull me up on it - as I really do not need anything else :D (I've put a bottle of OH's Vosene in for the shampoo - don't tell him :rotfl:)

Looked at the mag with the 'cowshed body lotion' on it - picked it up, put it down, repeated :p then decided I didn't want it :T However :o got home and double checked my body lotions and only have half a BS Spiced Vanilla and half a Calvin Klein Eternity so may pop back out tomorrow and pick one up - Grumpy Cow probably :rotfl:

One UU today - Have binned the Freederm Cleanser - finally worked out why I don't like it when I used it on OH's face yesterday (long story - hang on!) and he said it 'smelt like Superglue': WIBA? errm - no :D

OH was watching me doing the ol' cleanse-tone-moisturise thing last night and asked why I bothered with the cleanser 'cos I 'hadn't been out of the house today'. I (gently - bless him) explained that my face still got grimy even though I hadn't been anywhere and showed him the cotton wool I used for my cleanser. he said I was filthy ;) and his face was cleaner than that even though he'd been at work and I said it wasn't - so to prove it I did the whole cleanse-tone-moisturise thing on him which was when he told me it smelt of superglue.

His face was filthy btw - AND he'd had a bath!! He's not metrosexual enough to do the whole routine though but he might relent to using a face scrub now :rotfl:

Ah well! Off to update my sig

I donated a couple of face scrubs to DH that didn't agree with me and he is using them every few days and loving them, then he bought himself the S&G mans moisturiser.

Oh PHEW! It's not just me then. I just dug out four cookbooks I've had for about thirty years - looking forward to trying some new stuff and rediscovering old favourites.

And you are stitching a map of Durham, Dragon! If it's a replica of an old map the village near my town will be there, but not the new town I live in.

Edit to add: My son scrubs religiously, even though his is an office based job. He's really prone to blackheads - eww - if he doesn't.

I've never tried Clinique before, the price has always put me off, looking forward to trying the goodies though....

sawan - sounds good, but i'm sure you dont 'need' it???

Do hair masks and face masks really work? I can't say i've used any....
