Hi all you lovely smelling people!

I've been following these threads for a few months now and I think the time has come for me to join if you'll have me! I have a bit of a problem when it comes to buying toiletries that I absolutely don't need and probably have enough to bathe a small country for a year! :D I'll type up a list when I have time (probably at the weekend) and share my stash!

I thought about signing up to this this morning when I thought 'It's only the 3rd of March, I've not bought anything yet, surely I can do it for a month!'. Then at lunchtime I felt sorry for myself (I had a wisdom tooth out earlier this week and am feeling the pain!) and somehow ended up coming back to the office with a Glamour magazine and a Marie Claire mag (i.e, a Clinique moisture surge and a Cowshed body lotion.) Am currently trying to convince myself I bought the magazines, not the toiletries, but I don't think I'm fooling anyone, am I? :rotfl:

I'm therefore hoping by signing up to this challenge, you lot will welcome me with open arms, then pin me to the ground next time I debate buying things!!

Please will you adopt me? And seeing a I bought things before I joined, does that mean I don't have to do time on the naughty step? ;)

Its easier for me to say which of the Glamour mags I didnt get....the one with the lippy.....Yes I got 9 of the 10 items.....felt like a total nutter raiding Mr T's and Mr A's buying in bulk the same mag but am well chuffed with my haul :j

I decided I didnt want the Cowshed lotion with Marie Claire or the lip gloss with Cosmo, I mean after all there are only so many mags a girl can read :D

    Hi All,

I had to go into two shops to get my copy of the mag - I must be the only one on here that wanted the lippy! It's my first make-up in of the year.

I have one UU to report - Mark Hill Straight Conditioner - 250ml, WNBA - it was an ok conditioner but nothing special in my opinion.

Sorry struggling to keep up, but I am also trying to have a no spends in March.
Have lots and lots of stuff, and shamefully I hardly ever use half of it. I really do need to get to grips with a routine! I am sure I would feel better if I put a bit of make up on! and used all my lotions and potions that I start, then stop! So guilty of starting a regime then blowing it all. The only thing I do use all the time is my clinique moisturiser! I was bought so much lovely locitane? things for christmas, but I want to use up whats already open before I use it.! (except am using the bubble bath as I had run out of that!).

A bit late but have a fab holiday Rosemary.

Went to the local newsagents across the road from work and bought 10, 6 were for work; he was so obliging and even let me have the one in the window as it was the only one which had the moisture surge.

Tracey I wanted the lipstick it is a lovely colour and I love it, all about eyes, moisture surge & dramatically different lotion. Clinique is a range I have never tried so will save them for my holiday in June.

Tara's the one to watch, she has gone all quiet!!

Just had a bath in my lovely new Strawberry bubbles :D

UU a mini S&G Flakeaway on my feet and hands. WNBA, didn't like the texture at all:(

I also used my new BS Rainforest Shampoo & Conditioner in the hope that it would stop my red colour from fading so much. By the end of it I was sitting in pink water so I don't think its working out. The shampoo is weird cos it didn't lather. I only got mini size to try them out so we'll see I suppose.

I have never come across this thread before and I am relieved to find out I am not the only one with boxes full of stuff I don't use!! I will be trying the March challenge. I was in Boots last week and somehow spent £68 - I honeslty don't know how I end up spending that much, I only went in for one item!!

    LOL...welcome :D
    Welcome amurphy!

Please don't tell me I'm the only regular not buying Glamour???!!!!
I have bought it in the past, but it's not very me, and I have little time for pleasure reading, so tend to stick to books. Usually ones I've got free from Amazon.

I've not bought any - for the simple logic that if I try them and like them I'll want to buy more and I cant afford them!!! :o
