    Hiya ladies,

\happy birthday/congratulations/commisserations/and thoughts iwth you all - going through c.60 pages now so after opening 25 tabs to comment on and still hadn't finished catching up, sorry for the impersonal replies!

I have been trying to desperately catch up with this thread but as I'm no longer on a computer during the day it's a bit intimidating knowing that there are reams and reams of posts to catch up on so I've kind of been avoiding it!!!

Thanks for all the thoughts :A I have a new job, start tomorrow at Aldi of all places, for those that have mentioned that they are looking for jobs, apparently they are crying out for people, and pay a hell of a lot more than i was getting temping! It's a bit of a change but, a job is a job at the end of the day so I'm a bit excited in a way to give it a whirl.. :)

Going back to try and catch up tonight....xxx

Hello and nice you are still around - Ooh now wasn't it Aldi that had the really cheap but brilliant face cream? They closed the one I used to get it from at Romford.
Don't try and read the whole thread - I joined the fly lady thread - my goodness, it's longer than this - I only read the last page and the first page which has all the TO DO lists - very scary and I'm failing but gonna take it gently..

Hey Roshy! Good to have you back! :jGlad you've found a job. Hows the Aussie plans going?

Erm, does anyone have the current Clinique gwp? It looks so pretty! And I would like some moisure surge and take the day off...:D

Oooh the tin is so pretty isn't it! I never would have even looked at Cinique if it wasn't for the G mag deal!

My sister wanted plants today from Homebase so we got vouchers from Clinton cards - and a £5 body shop voucher each! :rotfl:Bloody voucher isn't showing the credit yet so that was embarassing at the check out. Apparently it can take up to 3 days to show up blah blah....

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Lyndsey - glad to hear things are picking up for you :)

Painted my nails with Missguided black with gold glitter polish (think it was a freebie from Cosmo mag last year). Had to cut all my nails off as there were breaking :( but I do like black polish on short nails even when it chips :rotfl:Hate it when my nails are so short

Gonna go take a piccy of my nails polsh stash now...don't think it will be quite as impressive as Dr Roberto's though!
A small, tiny, teeny in too...the NAils Inc purple crackle polish.

Thanks for the pic :D It doesn't look that dark - is it? (I know black is black, but still :p)

That's not a tiny in, that is a HUGE in!!! I was trying to resist but I guess resistance is futile :rotfl::rotfl: Next time you paint your nails vicster, it's got to be with that crackle!! Oh man, now I want that one even more, and the 17 one :D

Weirdly, it's not black black - I think the gold glitter lifts it a bit - it is quite glittery on

Resistance is indeed futile :rotfl:Get it, get it!!! :rotfl:(I won't feel so naughty then!). I ordered it online from Debs as they had none in stock when I popped in last week and didn't want to pay nails inc's £3.95 delivery charge for one polish  Am going to try very hard to avoid the 17 one tomorrow - will only be in a small boots so hopefully they won't have it (or a clinique counter) :rotfl:

Promise wholeheartedly that it will be the next polish I use :T

Now I don't mean to be a bad influence but it is very pretty!!

The eyeshadow palette had nice wearable colours in it and 2 decent sized moisturisers and all in a nice pretty tin.

And I paid with AC points, so it was all free :D

Now could we stop talking about crackle polishes please or I'll have to go and buy another one at the weekend!!

I can't wait to find out what colour Charlie's hair is, I hope it's gone ok.
Forgot my UU - Tesco tea tree conditioner. Had been put in a travel bottle in case my cleaner binned the dregs, which was actually 2 weeks' worth of product.

WIBA? No, I think I got it a few years back because there was a head lice outbreak at my grandchildren's school.

I was swamped with work today, working from home, so getting my free own brand goodies with S'drug £3 voucher will have to wait.

Further comment on Foam Party Fiasco and call to the Careline:

In fairness to the CSR at Proctor and Gamble (Clairol) her response of 'Go to a hairdresser' was in response to my query 'Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to reduce the colour?'

It was then that I said, 'Well, no, I'm not paying to put right what your product has put wrong, I can't have money back as I didn't buy it, but can I have some vouchers?'

Hi guys, sorry it took so long to get back on - had to go down to cribbs as OHs flash exploded so we had to take it back. On the hair front it it pretty much my usual colour - think its called "red passion" by swarzkoff live. Its maybe a tiny bit darker than it but thats it. So as a warning to anyone else with "intense hot brown" it appears to actually be red rather than brown. Was wondering if the dye just didnt work where it was already dyed but my roots ( mousey light brown) is red too. Would i use again (more vouchers) - YES. Would i buy it - NO not at the price of £6.99, my usual is over half the cost cheaper

Noooooo! It sounds so pretty! The eyeshadows look lovely in the picture so that's good to know. Does it finish on 3rd April? Hopefully I won't be able to get to a Clinique counter in time :rotfl:

It is beautiful, but the DD Lotion, mascara, Facial Soap and Lip Balm were all available as freebies on the Glamour offer as well, I personally don;t like the Youth Surge moisturiser, and that, the DD lotion, and the mascara are all now in the eBay box. The eyeshadows are lovely though - I was expecting to be eBaying those too, but no chance, too nice! The tin is gorgeous, but I now have the "what to do with it" question....!

Welcome back roshydoshy, great news about the job.

Fantastic news Lynseydee about you and DH, brought a tear to my eye, not many people make the effort to work things out, all credit to you both.

Juliebunny - i get really narked about having to give my DOB for EVERYTHING, why do they need it. I now give a comination of my month and day and DH's year.

Had a lovely pamper evening last night, Calm one Calm all bubble bath, coconut body butter, face srub and BS seaweed mask. Was horrified to count up my facial moisturisers at 46 yesterday, most are 50ml, how long are they going to take to use? Thought about putting some on ebay but not going to get anywhere near back what I paid, obviously this is the whole point for the buyer.

On the flip-side, you're not going to stand a chance of using those up before they go off, so maybe sort out 50% of the most saleable ones (do a bit of research on completed listings on eBay?) and get rid - at least some money back in your pocket is better in the long run than throwing stuff away as it's gone off, or wasting nice creams on your feet?

    A couple of UU's - :j

A JF Brilliant Brunette Conditioner - WIBA? Yes, it's prretty good, I've been using this for a while now and this one was from the Tesco glitch this time last year so cost me barely anything! Have now got a Charles Worthington one out to go on with - oddly enough from that same glitch! :p

And a random soap in the bathroom...it's not *quite* gone, but is now stuck onto OH's soap in the shower - that'll give him a surprise when he finds it in the morning! :D Mince-pie shaped one from christmas in there now. Smells a bit odd, if I'm honest. :o
