    Afternoon!

Just got back from uni - just had one of my last ever lectures! crazy days, Ive no idea where time has gone

Have 3 more INs for today

1 bottle of clear nail varnish - I have horrible hands - short, fat and stumpy fingers plus I chew my nails something terrible, so I plan on painting my nails so I dont chew them - whether or not it works Ive no idea but Ill give it a try

Just picked up my second (FREE) hair dye from superdrugs (naughty I know) and will try it out tonight, Im so worried about my hair becoming really dark brown, Ive had red hair for the past 6 years and I cant imagine having anything else....

Also bought a HUGE bottle of pantene conditoner from bodycare, it was on offer and only 99p so a bargain in any case, but Im not getting on with my current conditioner (treseme), just makes my hair feel horrible so Im going to give this a try instead. Absolutly love the Aussie stuff which I used before that, bought it on offer in bodycare, two full sized bottles, hair mask all in a gift set for £3.99....Never see it on offer anymore now though and I dont fancy paying almost £6 for it.

Was hugely tempted to buy spa sanctary products this afternoon from boots, Ive never even used the stuff lol, but it came with a free gift set when you spent £10 and it seemed like a really good deal - talked myself out of it in the end...

Tried for the millionth time to spend my BS groupon but I still couldn't, not sure why, probably partly because my local store is tiny and so there isn't much choice but I think also because there is nothing I actually want or need so it makes it even harder especially as Im now in my 'I don't really need that' phase:p
I am wondering though if anyone knows if the instore offers are compatible with the voucher - such as the free body butter when spending over £25, 3 for 2 offers and buy-one-get-one-half price? If they are then thats not so bad....

Oh and I actually tried my free Revlon lipstick the otherday (normally just lip gloss for me) and actually its not bad, not dry and not bad colour but I find it doesnt actually stay on my lips for long if Im eating/drinking which is a shame

Reading other posts dotted around I'm getting the impression it all depends on the SA you get - some people have been told a flat NO and others have had the works. I don't reckon they could stop you having the 3for2's and BOGOF but I bet the GWP is discretionary (sp?) :D

Righto guys am about to use this free hair dye so will report back and let everyone know how it goes :p

On another note Ive managed to loose my phone somewhere, litterally had it in my hand before I got in, then I got my keys out of my bag and thats the last I remember! Ive only gone between the hall, bedroom and study so its not like it could have gone far, everything (bags coat etc) is all on the bed so litterally cannot figure out where my phone has gone....I swear Im loosing my marbles sometimes

EDIT: Dye is on - don't be mistaken and think because its foam its not going to be messy! Ive never used foam before (normally I use Swarzkoff Live colour) so this is a big difference for me. First reactions are mixed from me, firstly it says DONT shake the bottle to mix it, which seems odd as the foam comes out of the bottle it kept changing colour which is worrying me immensly! It started coming out clear/white and then it came out brown and by the end it was coming out purple  It seemed to be drying on my skin as a dark brown colour but wiping it off it was red so the shade of my hair is going to be a massive suprise - Ill be lucky if it hasnt turned rainbow coloured!

It didn't take as long as usual to put on which I suppose is a plus but on the other hand Im not sure it really went on as well, couldnt really get it where I wanted it as much, and it didnt really 'foam' up like in the pictures. It also felt like there wasn't going to be enough in the bottle so I started panicking as Id only done half my head so I had to pump it frantically to get the rest out.....Got another 15 mins before I wash it off.....I have a horrible feeling though this could be a disaster...Might be a trip into town tomorrow in which case and have to get my usual dye....

Oh and also the foam keeps making noises - the bubbles in it popping or whatever...its really annoying!

I just rang the Clairol Helpline about my brown/black hair that should have been medium brown and they are sending me some vouchers. I had to suggest they send them though, they weren't offered, the advice was to go to a salon to get it put right. At £60 a pop? I don't think so.

If anyone else has had a bad Foam Party experience and has binned the box with the Helpline number on it it's 0800181184 .

I'm  that they told you to go to a salon to fix it. I did do that last month and I paid an obscene amount of money to have the colour stripped from my very long hair because hi-lites wouldn't take on top of the home hair dye. For that reason I'm not participating in hair dye offers, now that I've paid to fix it, I'm going to continue going to the hairdresser. I hate paying for it though.

I think everyone who isn't happy with the colour should call the careline and try to get a few more vouchers from them.

Then I can start on the other spare room - AKA 'The Christmas Shop' :o

Right now I need a sit down

I've got this image of a room with an artificial Christmas tree and boxes of stock from the Boots 75% sale:rotfl:

Kind of glad I can't do the Tesco DTD thing (offer doesn't apply in Ireland). I live 10 minutes walk from a huge 24 hr Tesco and I know I'd be there every day buying things like Baileys that I don't need because they are free. Wonder how long it will last for?

@charlie Can't wait to hear how the hair dye works out.

While browsing on Saturday a sales assistant with loads of wrinkles tried to sell me a Decelor face cream costing €113, she looked as if she never used face cream of any sort herself. She actually thought I might buy it, I couldn't have even if I wanted to, I don't even have €113 left to live on until payday. But she did give me some free samples which was lovely.

I don't like hair supply either, hope you don't have too many bottles of it. Some people use conditioner for shaving their legs and others have turned it into fabric softner. I can't remember how they did this though. You could ebay it or give it to a friend, or swop it for something else from a friend.

It's disgusting, isn't it?:rotfl: I don't think I could use it for anything else, i'm just about to go and scrub my hair to get rid of the smell/feel of it :o I only have 1 bottle of it thankfully. I'll give it to my Mum, she probably won't notice it:D:rotfl:

well ive just got out the shower and on first impressions no disasters - infact somewhat oddly it looks the exact same colour i usually dye it even on my roots - probably not good for someone expecting brown and getting red! Will have to wait for it to dry for a true verdict (will take a while as i prefer to let my hair dry naturally)

Nce to have you back Tara, glad to see you haven't deserted us yet! :rotfl:

Lyndsey - glad to hear things are picking up for you :)

Painted my nails with Missguided black with gold glitter polish (think it was a freebie from Cosmo mag last year). Had to cut all my nails off as there were breaking :( but I do like black polish on short nails even when it chips :rotfl:Hate it when my nails are so short

Piccy especially for you Sawan...I know how much you like piccys! :rotfl:

Grtting inducted onto the Passport to Health scheme (exercise on prescription) next week, so have a whole new excuse to buy toiletries :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Gonna go take a piccy of my nails polsh stash now...don't think it will be quite as impressive as Dr Roberto's though!
A small, tiny, teeny in too...the NAils Inc purple crackle polish.
