Ah the vicster, that's a shame. It's nice that you can be so positive about it though. The right job will come along for you.
You mention that you are turning 30 in January. A lot of people get stresed out about this one. Please don't (if you are), I will be 33 on the wedding day and I have to say, so far, my 30's are the best. We are now in a position where we are a bit more financially comfortable, the kids are that little bit older and a bit more self caring, the house is almost done and we've lived here long enough to have a routine and know what order I want/ need to do stuff in. The garden is starting to take care of itself and is almost stocked with self seeding flowers (takes the expense away) and generally life is good.
If someone had said to me about 4 years ago that I would be here now, I would have very much doubted them. But look, here I am, and I'm loving it! (ANd the cat's asleep in the window, she's so soundo, she's snoring!).

Sorry vicster about the job, still feel a bit cr*p even when you weren't sure about the job dont you?
A couple of uu again today, Botanics conditioner, the one which comes with the hair dye, Vaseline Aloe Fresh moisturiser, really like this one for summer, very light and fresh, this was left over from last summer and seeing as its been so warm the last few days i have been using it up in the mornings, wba when I need to.
Also uu a VO5 volumising hair mousse, very nice, makes your hair soft and no stickiness, wba but have already got a pantene one to replace.
A note to anyone wanting to do the MrT's dtd thing, be very careful now, they are changing the rules on a daily basis, only buy things you can take back and don't open until you get your voucher and have printed it.The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
This pampering lark pays off doesn't it? The weather's so nice that it's not really boots weather. I didn't even need to think twice before I dug out my sandals and put them on because my toe nails are up together, neat and tidy and polished already. The skin is revealable too so no hot sweaty feet for me

Happy sunny morning my lovlies!
So, I need some sensible advice to either talk me out of purchases or to let me know if I'd be missing a great deal... and all the sensible people were busy so I thought I'd try you lot instead
So, two quandries today. I do need to buy a new Clinique Superbalanced foundation as mine is running out - I will try to use up my other foundations as well, but this is my HG foundation and the only one that really seems to suit my skin type and colour! So, when I go to get one, do I buy a skincare product that I don't really need to get the GWP that I also don't really need? But it might make a nice gift for someone? Maybe I'm being sucked in by advertising, but if I need to buy the foundation anyway, it feels like I perhaps should buy something like makeup remover that I'll use... argh, really not sure if it's worth it...
Second quandry is the Body shop gift sets - you know, the 60% off ones! I really fancy the shea butter one. And I'll use everything in it - having just finished the mini tub of body butter and loving it, although I have a fair few body lotions to work though, I don't absolutely love any of them so this would be a treat... and I can do it through Quidco and get cashback too...
What do you think? Unneccessary purchases, or a good deal that I should be taking advantage of whilst I can?
PS - I had a swap to report - I took my unopened Penhaligons Malabah Shower gel to the shop and swapped it for a Artemesia body lotion - to match the perfume I have and absolutely adore! So not really an in...:D
Hope you all have a lovely day xx0 -

why not buy something cheap like a lip balm(about £10 I think or coloured £13 or the new eye roller thing....sorry forgot name but its a pink roller with a steel roller that feels nice when applied about £20/22) I too am looking to try the new foundation from Boots bonus time.
re body shop if you will use it all go for it
stop press DH found my hole:j:j:j0 -
warning/alert Clarins bonus time at Jl from 24th march till 9th April
choice of 4 collections and a canvas bag when you buy 1 skincare and 1 other item0 -
Flirtini, re the body shop offer; If you will use all of it and love it, go for it. Make your order up to >£25 for the free body butter and then use the £5 off voucher to get it cheaper than if you were to actually just buy the set and pay for delivery. bought 3 because I will use all of the items in there and the ones that I don't use immediately will be used for gifts as occasions come around. I'm coming into a run of girly birthdays so will be using the items for this purpose as everyone loves TBS and views them as expensive so I get to have extra pampering items for myself for the pice of 2.5 peoples gifts (we go on a £20 price range for gifts).
As for the clinique, if you don't need make up remover atm and don't really need/ want the GWP, I would save your money. Just get the foundation as it's your HG.
Quick q though, what are you going to do with all of your other foundations? If you are going to use them, could you use them all up and then go and buy the Clinique in the hope that there's a better offer/ you need make up remover by then? Or can you not bear to use them? If you can't bear to use them, get rid of them and don't hang onto them.
ETA: Rosemary, so very pleased that you found your hole! Now could you be a doll and pop round to find mine?
