Thanks for the info - a few years ago I was an Orflame lady (a bit like Avon) which at the time was quite a big thing in my area -I did a few parties and sold a few things but it fizzled out and my other job took priority. The products were quite good though!

I have looked at my local college website to see if they do typing courses but couldn't see any- will have to give them a ring and find out.

I phoned up to get another appointment to see an advisor and left a message so hopefully I can get the ball rolling again and be a bit more persistant this time! I am sure I'm not completely unemployable!! However, not sure if I need a careers advisor or a life coach!



I thought my degree (Psychology) was worthless too especially as it was so long ago, but the advice I got was that it does show commitment and the academic level achieved.

My gift drawer is pretty full - off to update my stash list.

Just a thought - how long did it take you to type the above? There are online typing tutors and you may well already have a decent speed.

Two of my course colleagues on my most recent teaching maths to adults course were psychology graduates and we talked about how no matter what the degree was, obtaining it showed commitment, dedication to study, and a general level of academic ability. Degrees open doors and whilst there are a lot of unemployed graduates many of them will find the fact that they have a degree useful in the long run.

ladies I have a problem!
I have lost my hole
it was there last time I needed it(about September 2010) but now there is no sign of it.I asked DH if he had any ideas and he said it must be there somewhere but then he does not often use it so how would he know?
I have just spent a hot hour looking for it,I raked about for it,poured water all over the area and proded the area with a stick but all to no avail:(:(:( so just had to put my sheets which I had hoped to dry outside into the tumble!!!!

p.s am talking about the hole for my rotary dryer of course!....well what did you think I meant:rotfl::rotfl:

Well last night we drove back to OH's folks house and picked up OH's old laptop, switched the drives over into mine and it tries to boot so its definetly the hard drive that's gone in it, shame as theres no way of recovering the data in which case. Oh and I also got another £15 today for next to nothing - in my first year of uni I found out about a website that 'rewards' you to upload lecture notes etc, well I did this for a bit and realised you could cash out points for paypal payments, and cashed out £10 which was good. I uploded more notes in my second year but never checked my balance, I logged in yesterday and had £15 worth of points so thats going into my account today Once Ive finished my diss Im going to get all my notes for my 3rd year typed up and put on there so hopefully Ill make a bit more too

See, the tide is turning.

Can I ask about the perfume oils in these pictures? You have loads of them so can I assume they are pretty good? And what size are those bottles please? I have none and am thinking putting in a small order to try them out. Not sure if I should get 3ml or 6ml? Both sizes seem tiny, do they last for ages?
