the exact same thing happens to me. I'm lucky now that we only have carpet on the stairs and in the dining room so it's easy to sweep up but it seems like everyday I find enough to make a wig:eek:
it's everywhere!
me too:(
i don't enjoy baths or showers anymore, i just sit/stand and pick hairs out of the water YUK!
i'm just getting old though, for you youngsters i would recommend getting your iron levels checked and a thyroid function
ps vicster dying to hear about the interview?????
charlie sorry to hear about your situation, try and get some voluntary work in some sort of area your course is in or you are hoping to work in in the future, even if its only for one hour a day most firms would be grateful in this climate for any help. Can you ask any family members for a bit of financial support while you do this??GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Cheers - I had a quick look at the Tesco thread and it doesn't seem like it will be worth the effort for us :rotfl:Nice to know it works for others though (or worked if they're already fudging it )
Nutrogena Wave Cleanser & 44 pads - ebay £4.99 delivered - liking it - thanks for the advice :T
Glad you got the wave cleanser at a great price :T
This thread seems a little quieter today....I'm wondering if some of us (like Celebrate) has migrated to the tesco board?? :rotfl: I managed to get a voucher for £8.92 on yesterday's £11.89 shop. :j

Can anyone recommend which Sally Hansen nail treatment product is best for weak and breaking nails? Planning an IN tomorrow - there is a voucher for 200 advantage card points with any of these products in the Boots magazine. I'm desperate to get my nails in better condition so that I can start using nail varnish again. I know I have a couple of treatment polishes but they seem to dry my nails out rather than help.
Hope someone can help!

Apologies - someone was asking a few pages back about the cost of the ANEW Regime Kits when Avon launch them in a couple of campaigns time. The prices will vary depending on which range you want - so the Rejuvenate for example will be £35 for the set, and the Reversalist will be £40. If you've previously bought one of the trial sets, then you will have been given a £10 voucher with that to use against your full size set too.
Trudi - when do you get Red home?
Roshy has been about the forums, but not posting. Hope you're OK sweetie.

Most likely reason being that they see a final year uni student who they assume will stay for a few weeks and quickly move along to something better.
This is very:o but I'm looking forward to finding out what the new offers at Boots will be. (The promotions change tomorrow)

i'm still here and not on the tesco's board. i don't really shop there as it's so expensive so the dtd vouchers would not be much use as i just hate shopping there.
I think i may just have got this far in the month without buying any lotion or potion. The only thing i have bought is muslin cloths but i feel that they're another version of a flannel so absolutely not a toiletry item. Only 9 days to go and i'll have survived a month.0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Many apologies for keeping you all waiting!
Well, it was quite fun! The first half of the interview was the bog standard questioning, tell me something you're passionate about, what are yor strengths, how would you deal with a product launch blah, blah, blah! The second part was actually on the No7 counter - she wanted to see how I dealt with customers - I sold two things! :rotfl:a nail polish and a mascara :rotfl:Bless the customers, they were asking me about shades of eyeshadows and things! Hopefully I blagged that okay :rotfl:Currently the account is worth £800,000 which they want to boost to a million  There's a team of five people to control and basically it sounds like a very scary grown up person's job :rotfl:Am I grown up enough? Not sure! The training is good though, a five day jolly in Nottingham learning about skincare and applying make up and stuff, all expenses paid :rotfl:I'm not sure exactly what they are looking for, but I suspect they want someone from outside the industry who wants to do lots of promos, blowing up balloons and dressing up and stuff (I LOVE that kind of thing!). Anyway, not sure what to do - will just hang fire and see if I get the job (should hear early next week). At the very least it would be a £3,000 increase in wages a year, potentially more (will get an offer with job offer if I should get the job) which would be a mega boost to our earnings. A LOT of responsibility thoughI want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -

Also I dont suppose anyone has any advice about my hair? I actually seem to moult (sp?) like a dog - no joke my hair gets EVERYWHERE - the amount I seem to loose anyone would think Id have bald patches (I dont) but Im sure its not natural to loose so much hair? Its not long either, shoulder length and in fairly good condition but Ive always lost a lot of hair even since I was little....its becomming a never ending job hoovering up tonnes of hair from the carpet..
ooh yeah, my hair is a menace - it always seems to be the culprit when my kitchen (?!) sink is blocked!! Anyway, a friend of mine once rang to ask me the same Q as you above. But she had bald patches and it was the start of alopecia....she managed to halt it by going rapidly to a private specialist - she's in the NHS so knew who to go to and how to get there quick...I NEVER moan about my unmanageable tangled hair any more....just glad to have it.charlie792 wrote: »I have previous work experience but unfortunately all my jobs have ended in disasters and means I cant get a reference from any of them!
Used to work at Woolworths which obviously no longer exists, then I worked very temporary at a cafe, never even had a contract and they basically told me they'll call me if they ever need me again after 2 months of being there, then I worked at a solicitors for almost a year, but on a somewhat casual basis but only because my mum was the manager, the firm was taken over, they made most of the staff redundant and my mum left on very unhappy terms.
Doesn't look so good for me really...
It comes to something when I can't even get a job at the likes of McDonalds or KFC (been rejected for both )moi????????????????:Doops you've been spying on me??

Oh really just don't have the time/energy...and I only buy for me most of the time - boyf is a Lidl devotee but I find the shop odd...only time I go in there is to get a box for the cats to play in.....I'm trying to do a food budget at the moment in case of redundo - it's weird but I knew exactly what I spent on toiletries each month but did not have a scooby doo what I spent on food!!! :rotfl:
PS I taught that Glamour mag with the yellow moisturiser a lesson today for having been staring at me from the window for the last few week - I shoved it right to the bottom of my bag, brought it home and hid it at the back of my stash - can't stare at me from there :rotfl::rotfl:
Left the mag on the tube - was reaaaally funny after I put it on the seat watching the girl opposite me eyeing it up and trying to work out if I was going to leave behind a brand new mag! Sure enough she dived for it the minute I got off - glad it went to a loving home.
UU - my darling S&G body butter <sob> WIBA - yyyyyyyyyyyyeeeess!! I want more! once I've used up the 15 plus in my stash.
Boyf told me tonight I use too much body butter and am clogging my pores - is this true??:cool:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0
