Had 2 UU's last night after my bath. 1 mens face cream in blue glass jar (nivea) and a face cream in a little tube (also nivea), Have started on the face cream in the white glass bottles now too.
WIBA?: Nope, they're for boys!
Just shoving a sarnie down my neck, very busy again so only just got my break. Never mind, home in 2 hours.
Kaz I love your dedication to popping in to 'see us' at these ungodly hours! Not sure exactly what you do - something like nursing I'm guessing from your comments - but I'm definitely going to ask for you if I need overnight care, LOL!!morning ladies
INs to report-Had to visit boots to get gripe water for baby and......
Rimmel 25hr foundation £6.99
Rimmel eyeshadow quad£6.99
Rimmel mascara free as 342
Boots 17 vintage pastels palette-£5.49
vo5 silky smooth shampoo-57p clearance
dove hair minimising deo-59p clearance
3x Boots expert exfoliating hair remover mitts 50p each
charlie secret bodyspray 42p
Feel terrible now as the above are all unnecessary purchases but I was feeling a little upset at the time and filling up my basket felt quite nice.Next time I will pop into mothercare instead.
I will need foundation in a few days but I always use maxfactor experience and maxfactor face powder so a highly likely £15ish spend in boots next week if I don't get on with the rimmel.
UU-Bic aloe razors .WIBA yes will try to find a bogof offer.
Hope you are feeling better, we are here for you :grouphug: if you need any sisterly support.
Could you maybe take some of the stuff back to make you feel better or is it too dangerous to go back in case you come out with more than you went in with again....?catslovelycats wrote: »Mmmmm. I must 'fess up to spending £36 on 8 items from BS - 2 Mothers Day gift sets of Vit E items which I use.
So not a treat. Just stocking up on items that are a bargain.
Having said that, I do tend to stash these items so I have to add them to my siggy...
Question: is it 2 ins (because I bought 2 sets) or 8 ins (because there are 4 items in each set)?
I know which one I'd like it to be but suspect it's the other!!
Hmmm, nice try!! Are they 'gifts' for you?
Maybe my cats will get me a mothers day pressie :rotfl:
I'm doing ok ish this week. Have resisted the BS 50% off online (how hard was THAT!! - I almost crumbled friday pm by which time it had run out :D), aswell as the No 7 voucher and a nivea money off voucher...did get a few bits today....boots clearance corner dove handwash 50p (but paid with points) then Savers nail varnish remover and cotton wool pads.
Some advice required - I may lose my job this year - should I stop buying these bargains or should I be stocking up whilst they are cheap to ensure I have a good stash to keep me through the hard times?? I've got friends and family to make sure I don't starve and I work in London so am sure I can get something else, but it may well be a pay cut or part timeooh that could be fun.
Haven't heard from Roshy in a while?Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

I think I should be strapped to the naughty step :rotfl:
Budge up on the naughty step, I'm coming to join you!
I actually got all this on Friday but have had a busy weekend and no time to confess til now!
Spent my BS groupon voucher:
Dreams ltd eau de parfum (so don't need this but smelled lovely)
Dreams ltd £10 gift (needed this even less but it was 1/2 price with a fragrance purchase! So another shower gel and body lotion to add to the total )
Passionfruit Cleansing Gel - as recommended on this thread
Cucumber Toner Water (do need more toner, none in the stash!)
Sample of Vitamin E BB
LYB card and it's my bday next month so will get my £5 gift soon
Then I went to Boots and got Clinique GWP as well. I did pay with AC points so technically was all free!
I got City Block and Eye make up remover and the lovely tin of goodies!
And I bought 2 Mitchum deo's for £3.50, then spent my £5 voucher on make up sponges for £1.13, which I did need.
Phew, it was a lot of toiletry shopping but I think I've got it all out of my system now! Back on the wagon for the rest of the month.
Thankfully I didn't hand over much actual money for any if it :rotfl:No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -
Evening all,
Ooh, enjoy your clinique goodies, Mad scientist! I spent far too long today gazing at them in Boots. I also managed to stop myself from buying S&G as it's still on 3 for 2...
So, all in all, I've been a proper :A. All I bought this weekend toiletries-wise was No7 face wipes with the voucher, to use on a holiday next month.
I really really wanted to buy an OPI polish in John Lewis as well - it was a gorgeous fuschia/purple, and I've completely forgotten it's name, so I couldn't even look it up online.Instead, I came home and painted my nails with Kyoto Pearl, which was a freebie with a magazine subscription years ago, and I'm not overly keen on it.
When I've used up the relevant parts of the stash, I'm planning on buying the following:
Chanel hydramax cream
S&G Breakfast scrub
S&G iFoam
S&G Hair supply
It should be good motivation to get on with using up all the other stuff!0 -
I am back again with yet another IN to report. This has been my worst weekend for spending in months...think I have taken the express elevator to the naughty step!!
So I was in town shopping with my mum and poped into TK Maxx. They had Label M hair care range in stock and lots of it. They had two sizes of texture paste 50mls or 120mls. Seen a pricing error on the 120mls size selling for the same price as the 50mls one. So I just had to buy it at £4.99.
I just need to stop buying again NOW!!! I was doing so well...:wall:No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
oh dear, I must stay away from this and the Grabbit threads.
Just bought 2 x M&S 100ml perfume for £12.80 with 2 codes, thought I'd try again but only one code would work so didn't buy which I suppose is something. I have currently 7 M&S perfumes but thought I'd use this as a way to try some different ones. They are excellent value, very like some designer fragrances but at a fraction of the price :j
Also on the Grabbit board I saw there's to be another Groupon offer - £5 for £12 stuff, I've still got 2 vouchers from the last time to use up first. Thought there might some good offers after Mother's Day.
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend. Think I will switch off computer now!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.

Just done a CTM with a face scrub thrown as felt I should have a conversation I've just had with my sister who has just decided to start a proper cleansing routine and was asking her how she was getting on.
She was recommended the Simple range by the lady in Boots as she says she has dry, sensitive skin and didn't know what to try for starters.
She said she has been using it on a regular basis (only since last weekend) but has come out in a break out. I have told her that this is natural and she is to perservere for a few more weeks but I was just wondering what else she could try if she finds she really doesn't get on with Simple products. Something relatively cheap but effective would be good.
I'm trying to remember some of the recommendations from on here but my mind's gone blank.Did owe £9,951.96

That Simple range does NOT do what it says on the tin! I've got really sensitive skin and I can't use any of their facial products - annoying cos I bought 3 for 2 on the facial moisturiser (lesson about bulk buying untested products!) after all their blurb about it being good for my type of skin - rubbish - I had a massive red face for DAYS with people staring at me - now relegated to hand cream.
I do well with the No. 7 products, Clinique (glamour freebie) and the No 7 range. Oh and the BS aloe vera I have just discovered - some people also recommend BS Vit E range but it wasn't good for me.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

I came out in a rash and spots with the simple range too. I'm now using Wilkos's skinology 3 in 1 facewash that i got 1/2 price at 25p and my face really cleared up ( until my PMT came but that's normal ). It may have been discontinued though as they were selling them off really cheap. The only moisturiser i can use is Nivea creme anything else and i get the rash and spots again. I am using the S&G Greatest scrub of all and S&G Fab pore facial peel and they're ok too.0

Not a fan of the Simple range, I find it very drying. Been using a facial wash for a couple of months to try and use it up, looking forward to finishing it soon. Although, maybe I should use it as a shower gel it'll get used quicker. :cool:Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.

I forgot to say I have another OUT Clarins Instant Smooth. Did not work well with my skin - brought me out in (even more) spots. I have passed that along to my mum.
