The fact that in no way am i insinuating that people who are in social housing commit benefit fruad but your determined to think that is what everyone is saying proves to me that you have a chip on your shoulder.

Words really do fail to express how much you fail to be able to debate in a rational way.

To be honest, that is between the bank, and the borrower. Apart from the last bunch of idiots choosing to use taxpayers maney to bail out the banks, I for one couldn't care less.
When it comes to government money being used directly to subsidise housing for those that (in my opinion) do not deserve it, I feel the need to comment.

And why did the banks need bailing out? Why are we all having to suffer with inflated house prices? Why are private rents so high? Why is there so much pressure on social housing? Why are there so many empty properties?

No one sector of the housing market is independant of the rest.

Fraud is fraud. It is stealing.

What makes people particularly look down on Benefits fraud is that hard working people pay there taxes and those taxes are wasted on people who do not deserve it.

You MUST be able to see why people get more annoyed about government money being fruadulently obtained and private sector money being fraudulantly obtained. Because people see tax money as THEIR money and want to see it go to good use. They don't want there hard earned money taken and given to people who don't deserve it.

That doesn't mean other types of fraud are ok. Far from it. But hopefuly you can now see why people may take a slightly more emotionaly driven and personal reaction to benefit fraud.

For example would you be as outraged if someones house up the road was broken into and items stolen, compared to if your own house was broken into and items stolen?

    No, ofcourse you wouldn't.

Social Housing tenants are taxpayers too.

    No, ofcourse you wouldn't.

In truth, that would depend on the circumstances. If it was the little old lady who got burgled and they stole her last few pictures of her now dead husband, I'd be far more outraged than if they got my TV and I had to claim on the insurance.

But I'd be pretty upset either way.

I would suggest that most of them problems stem from population growth within the country and a lack of people fitting their family size to their circumstances. I have not got the figures, but it does appear that poorer familes tend to have more children on average, which seems a little lopsided. Much of this is due to state support.

So, once again you completely ignore my post and give some ridiculous completely irrelevant reply. Well done.

Please show me where in that quote it says that Social Housing Tennants don't pay tax. Please show me where in that quote i even mention social housing.

Please go back, re-read it, take a minute, read it again, try to process the information and then reply again with somethign that is atleast slightly relevant to the comment you are replying to.

    Thank you.

"I would suggest".... "it does appear"..... The minute you have anything definitive to contribute, do let us know.
