Hopefully the system will be updated to prevent pregnancy being rewarded with housing.0

Fingers crossed for you...
The other thing i get really angry about (happed alot at daughters nursery) was people having more and more kids to get bigger house's
Having 5+ kids just to get a bigger place?"Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.":beer:0 -
Yawn.
All been said and done before hasn't it?0 -
OP: I feel for you. You get punished for doing the right thing and rewarded for doing the wrong thing. The benefits system is in freefall and encourages you to do the wrong thing to get our (taxpayers) money.
Only in Britain can you be better off on benefits than in work.Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0 -

Sounds a bit like the OP.0 -

A relative and his wife and child were living near here (central south) and wanted to move down the westcountry to be nearer her parents. They are both not working and lived in a council flat here, so she moved in with her parents in the westcountry, claimed they had broken up and was given a flat (or house, not sure), then they "made up" and he moved down there to join them.
And I wonder why I bother working!0 -

Social Housing is allocated on the basis of need. It matters not if you are employed or married.
Clearly you (and I) know nothing of this "woman in Tesco" personal circumstances or her level of housing need.0 -

You either are classed as homeless, or you aren't. "Technically classed as homeless" is usually an expression used by those who aren't.0 -

Social Housing isn't as difficult to obtain in some areas as many would have you believe. That includes many parts of the West Country.0
