I always find it hard to throw out or sell off old stuff
I'm always looking to buy new CDs or DVDs0 -

The odd thing was that some cd's I assumed would always be relatively popular, like Michael Jacksons' 'Bad' were worth 12p, but the Karate Kid soundtrack was worth nearly £2... Average price was between 20 to 22p. The only real shocker was a Whitney Houston Greatest Hits double album listed at 21p!
supply & demand. There would have been lots of Michael Jackson CDs pressed so lots of them on the 2nd hand market , less so on the Karate Kid soundtrack. A popular piece of music doesnt necessarily reflect in its value.0 -
I was considering giving this a go as I have loads of CDs that never get used now as all my music is digital. Does seem like they dont pay a huge amount but then again why would they, for second hand CDs that might not be in great quality when there is decreasing demand. I would say £30 for 90 cds is a pretty good deal and might be worth going for before cds become completely redundant.0

Hope this helps0 -
I would never use them again - I sent them an xbox game with microphones game had only been used twice so imacculate working order not a single scratch on the disc. But it was in a plastic outerpackaging one of those thats almost impossible to open and it had a crack in the plastic so they refused to give me anything for it - I always use CEX now I would have got £11 even with the crack in the plastic (rather hard to explain)

We buy books might offer better prices for CDs but I tried to get a price on several dozen different books - fiction/non fiction/textbooks and quite a varied selection. Not one did they want. Has anyone had a book accepted from them. I'd love to know the kind of book they would be interested in.0

before Christmas I decide to have a sort out with my cds so I seen the ad for musicmagpie I enter 140 cds bar codes and was given a price of £57.00 which I was happy to get for them knowin that all the cds and covers art work was in PERFECT order I pack them up and away they went on 28th December 2013 when I checking my emails I notice a email from musicmagpie had reduced my payment by half to £32.00 when I check the list of cds that I sent them they had stated stuff like art work damage cds missing which was a load of crap as my cds were like walking into hmv and buying them there and then they were all looked after, I which I knew this before I decide to sell to them RIP off cause I would have done a car boot sale with them, just wondering does anyone know where someone can turn to cause I believe all these company who offer to buy your old fones or cds need to be looked at cause they ripping us brits of big style so becareful all I can say is where you sell your unwanted stuff0
