Can I please join? I have printed off the list for tomorrow and stuck it to the fridge. I have also briefed the family about it so we can all get involved. This week is a good week to start as every room is not too bad (ish) so it means we can keep on top of it. Last weekend we de-cluttered our bedroom and it took 2 whole days. Now if we can keep things going I wont ever have to do that again! xx
:xmastree:Welcome and well done on getting off to a good start. Here's a tree so our meeter and greeter can spot you. She'll send you a pm with an introduction to the thread.0 -
Pillows, duvets and cushions can be done now if you have a TD as they're generally better [STRIKE]cooked [/STRIKE]dried as hot as possible to make them fluffier, stop they going mouldy and kill dustmites. I try to do mine once every 6 months (lightweight bit of kingsize duvet and mattress topper are done more frequently... big duvets go off to be laundered... must find a laundrette and make a day of it sometimeDustykitten wrote: »When the weather gets better for drying then washing of curtains, cushion covers, duvets, pillows etc.

Clean washing rehomed. Bed mostly made (duvet cover not quite done). Bedding in TD stirred and put back on. need to dig the SC bowl out of the DW and fill it up with carcasses to make stock overnight (this emptying the freezer thing isn't working... I took four partridges out, fed five of us with leftovers and will have at least 3 pints of stock (which takes up more room than 4 partridges) to freeze tomorrow...
Mrs C... thanks for the ideas... I'll put some feelers out to see whether people feel like doing language coaching swaps. Might even suggest to my boss's boss that we set up some kind of internal skill swap/coaching programme where people can volunteer to coach certain skills and people who need the coaching can get in touch. (As my skills are career/CV coaching, I might have to keep a reasonably low profile!).
Suppose I should go and get the stock on, empty the DW and drying rack so that I can get rid of as much grubby stuff out of the kitchen as possible in preparation for tomorrow's flying

coooooooooeeeeeeeeeeee :rotfl: I noticed that you hadnt posted since the middle of january thats why you are not on the list!!:rotfl: but thats ok - the important thing is that you knew to come back - now quit procrastinating and get your behind up here on this ere flylady wagon and get stuck in:p:D**And Sky sneaks in, hoping no-one notices she hasn't poked her nose in for several weeks**
budgetboo if its possible can you get DS to help - even with gentle persuasion of fingernail pulling or eyelash plucking etc or what about good old dosh? or no food - is there anything that he could help with? Sorry I dont mean to be nosey but is he old enough to help and able enough?)if so you seriously need to get him on board and if stuck for suggestions please ask as there are several on here that have had problems with offspring that dont want to help - and we have some pretty good ideas that are legal and not painful!!!:rotfl:
xxJoxx I hope its living up to your expectations - I am concerned (((hugs)))
Aunty I dont think you need worry about a list now as everyone has got themselves sorted and they know if they are doing it - besides this could be an indefinite 'challenge' for some. It was interesting to see who wanted to tackle their spending so now lets begin:D:DCraftyscholar wrote: »OK you can relax, I have taken you off :rotfl:
Thinks "I really didn't intend to be running a challenge list"
Just a word of caution - the spending diary is not part of flying so please dont go overboard reporting about it - there are other threads for that like the No Spend Days - remember to put flying in your post first!!! (sorry to be a wet blanket!!)
pjjjx well done honey for keeping up with the ironing and have nice tidy background for your photos - the next time the children go with their dad why dont you take the opportunity to go out and do something you wouldnt normally get the chance for - even if its just a walk around window shopping or a coffee with a friend
ooooooooh piggers a toots list - you make me very proud:rotfl::rotfl:
I need to create this weeks list and find my never ending list.
toots xx
Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
