However, since I know I am not the only one with a ‘stationery habit’I am setting us all a challenge.
Before you go out and buy a shiny new notebook for this shiny new project see if you already have something you can use
An old notebook which still has blank pages
Does your handbag diary have ‘notes’ pages
A few sheets of scrap paper stapled together
I will use the notes section on my phone - if i remember to charge the blinking thing!seafarers_wife wrote: »im in again this week, got to get everything done again in a few days as things are going to get hectic this coming week as 13 days till i get married.
OOOWWWWW! So exciting! I remember that manic time with great fondness.
I must steel myself to be super organised this week. DD is 5 on Friday and DH's party is on Saturday night so I need a showroom standard house as loads of rellies are descending. (Idiots! don't they realise that with 7 people the house has all beds occupied!!!).
All sorted for school. DS3 needs to be dressed as a pirate and DD2 wants to show off her new haircut.
People carrier is going on ebay as soon as it passes the MOT, I've been watching them and we should get around a grand which will really help in this month of high expenditure.
Hope everyone is OK and look forward to tackling the list tomorrow.0 -
Toots - bin that stuff now, you've already been ill!!!
I'm in again this week please, and thank you to the ladies for the thread
I'm starting from Tuesday though as DH is off work tomorrow and I never get anything done when he's around!!! Hoping for the rain to stop as we want to go to the allotment and dig but it keeps chucking it down - DH will be seriously peed off if he can't get there tomorrow
Welcome to all the new people
Sunnygirl - after Dad dying earlier this month DH and I have already discussed what we want done funeral wise and the finances will be next, we are also writing our funeral wishes down as it causes conflict in the family if people don't know what is wanted.
Crafty - I'm doing a spending diary - started it Friday as thats when DH got paid [early again!!]
Off to do something now as DH is watching somethjing completely boring on TV lol

Thanks to all at Flylady HQ xxMe, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

:jI'm in again this week this is really helping me keep on top of things. Aim this week to sort out the playroom and keep ironing and washing basket empty. Have the first weekend off since christmas so don't want to spend it cleaning. :j
Re spending diary I started at the beginning of the year getting a receipt for everything I buy and have an envelope marked for every month. I put the receipts in here and at the end of the month I can see exactly what I have spent my money on. I was quite surprised what I actually bought in the January sales, see how we go at the end of Febuary .:DPay off ALL my debt by Xmas 2012 ChallengePaid Jan £1027.83/Feb £917.97/Mar £1353.67/Apr £1367.19#259 Total £4643.67/£12,636:eek:Lose 14lbs in 2012 9/14lbs:eek::TJanuary Grocery Challenge £263.98/£300:TFebruary Grocery Challenge £0/£300

DS at home till further notice so I'm in or nothing will get done! I want to redecorate but can't until I've decluttered grandstyle. By doing flylady I'll at least keep some semblance of order so we don't descend into total chaos lol!
It's great we are starting with the kitchen - needs a really good gong over so I'll do all 3 levels tomorrow and hopefully get to a point where I can see what needs doing most urgently (painting ceiling or clearing cupboard under the sink?) for next week. I'm aiming to just do level 1 on the rest of the week's tasks and spend a bit longer on Monday's tasks every week. If I don't have a set day nothing will ever get "deep cleaned", it'll be just surface wiped over for however long (and it could be months:eek:) DS is at home.
Mondays = level 3 day fly lady
Tuesday = heavy laundry
Wednesday = fling boogie
Thursday = shopping
Friday = fixing/mending/bills/forms/post office etc before the weekend.
Saturday = market day + Mum.
Sunday = baking0
