    piggers - I know I am a bit paranoid about water getting in to the house (BTDT and waiting for the roofer to call today) but maybe you should think about getting estimates for the bay roof and gutter as soon as you can so you are on the list for whoever you go for
    jinky - good luck for interview
    toots - hope you are feeling better this morning
  • After my weeks sabatical enjoying my childrens company I am back in the land of flying.

    Thank You all at FCC. Your efforts don't go unoticed, esp by my DH, He asked me when the fly lady was coming back last week ....ha ha..So I made him try my latest batch of baking as punishment.... that'll teach him!

    Kitchen floor looks disgusting, so I'm glad its the kitchen today, I was hoping to do at least an hour of ironing every morning before my DD got up last week but failed miserably, only managed one morning and that was half hearted.
    Upstairs loo has now completely broken so that's going to be interesting... Downstairs loo doesn't have a window, So I might make sure I get up extra early tomorrow so I get to use it first (TMI:o )

    Congratulations on becoming a surrogate mummy NIXIE, .. NIXIE'S CHIXIES .... awww cute!!!!

    Off to start the floor good luck all !

    Luv 'n' Rainbows

    Good morning ladies,
    I was AWOL most of last week but am hoping to be able to stick at gentle flying this week. DH in his BD moment last week was jealous of you lovely friends and my laptop.

    Today we are expecting a drilling company to start drilling for our GSHP.

    Crafty I am doing a spend list too.
    business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
    'I had a black dog, his name was depression".
  • Hello again everyone

    Went AWOL at the end of last week, too, and this week is incredibly booked up. Need to do huge amounts of writing and paperwork, as well as keeping various work and medical appointments. Still, today is one of my two 'free' days, so I'd better motor on...

    So far I have
    * Spun the o/night washing
    * Done the school run
    * Checked the humane mousetrap in the g/h: choc cake has been snaffled, but the trapdoor didn't spring shut... should never have asked DH to set the trap as he always gets it wrong....:cool:
    * Brought in the milk
    * Set the yeast on to bubble so I can make my Monday loaf of bread

    So I need to get going. Will post the list, though I may not get too much done off it....

    Monday ~ Kitchen & Dining area
    Level One
    Declutter and wipe worksurfaces
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Wipe table!
    Write you 'spring cleaning' list... we will be working through that too :p
    Level Two
    Wipe fronts of units and large appliances
    Scrub out the sink and polish the taps
    Run appliances through a clean cycle.. clean filters, drawers and doorseals first!
    Level Three
    Wipe over the oven and hob and fridge
    Clean out the freezer.. defrost if necessary but just emptied and sorted otherwise.. scrub those door seals!
    Clean out the cupboard with the pet food/miscellaneous items!

    Extras
    1. Scrub tiles
    2. dust and deweb!
    3. Wash small appliances and replace
    4. wipe the fluffy tops of appliances!
    Am up for a HHBlitz at 9:45 if anyone else will join me? Going to try to get some dailies done, plus make some bread and do the washing up we didn't do last night....:o

    Thanks to everyone who keeps the list going, especially Piggers, Toots and Asbo.

    Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    wow, racing through it this morning. Upstairs I've done master bedroom (just the bed to remake, but I'm going to sleep elsewhere, air it for the night because my other is coming to stay after leaving hospital and she's going in there). The back landing down, the bathroom done, including a bit of over zealous bleaching, the ''office bedroom'' sorted and done...just the spare room bed and floor to do and the front landing.

    Taking a break for a drink then will hoover. I'll be chuffed if I can get the vacuum back down stairs for tomorrow!
  • Morning ladies,

    Back again this week, had a week off last week due to half term and was very busy so didn't get chance to Flylady and boy did the house suffer for it.

    Not too sure about a Spring Cleaning list, I think I need a year cleaning list, looking at the state of this place.

    Will try and work on last weeks list as well.
