ETA: okay looking at this pic it looks like it might jump up and attack the puppies LOL Perhaps not as cute- but it really is in real life :)

No 8. Yes you need to remove the moss first. Moss is caused by damp shade usually (or simply lack of grass) is the area shady? Does it get very damp? It may need spiking a bit to aid drainage and grass seed suitable for shade.

Oh... !!!!!!ification.... Best get DS1 on that then :D

No.12 when we had the shower room done which has a concrete floor the builder told us that 80% of the heat would go down into the concrete unless we dug down and put insulation underneath the flooring. Underfloor heating works best on floor boards I beleive. We have it upstairs in the bathroom and it is fine. I'm not sure on the heating where it is pipes of hot water but guess that is not what you are looking at with the concrete floor. You may be best to look at underlay insulation if there is such a thing.

the electric mesh stuff has insulated boards underneath and then you can board straight on top which I think will be the most viable option.
Pigpen - i nearly choked on my porridge at no 38 on your list!

    Sorry.. :o

piggers - I know I am a bit paranoid about water getting in to the house (BTDT and waiting for the roofer to call today) but maybe you should think about getting estimates for the bay roof and gutter as soon as you can so you are on the list for whoever you go for
I've been trying to get the gutter sorted but noone will come out to even give me a quote!

I'm ringing a guy about the bay today if the baby allows it.. she is full of cold and very clingy

    Morning lovelies!

Jinky guess you'll be on your interview as we speak, Good Luck x

Had a rough night with littley (upset stomach) so I'm not the full shilling today, AF turned up too this morning to get in on the action. Rabbits have been let out/re-watered/food topped up. Tidied left-over party food from MIL's last night, put rubbish out, put recycling out, made my bed/tidy BR, TD emptied and reloaded and LR tidied. Not bad for 15 mins lol

Littley still in bed as is teenie so will hoover when they get up. I bought a spending diary yesterday from Paperchase, I had to giggle as I'm spending £5.50 on something to write my 'spends' in, tis nice though, it has a place for receipts and loads of pages and an elastic strap and it's got butterflies on :D In my defence I bought it with xmas money I still have that was given to me by my customers (over £100) so alls good. Will start tomorrow.

Paid a bill online and checked bank account so am up to date with bills etc....need to put new tax disc in car today, might give it a clean too seeing as it's sunny.

    Welcome new people  x

I love chicks. My frist batch of the year is ''cooking'' now. :) Last year they all went in on the same date but hatched over three days I think, it was really protracted, more than I'm used to,...so give the others a couple more days. I need to get this lot done then another batch in quickly so I can get the hens DONE and the new types of poultry on to cook. :)

we've had a few lone chicks, but reared by their mother's. They turn out ok.....but on't suppose you have a broody who could adopt him?

    Thanks to all at FCC

I'm going to try and keep up this week, but I've got lots on so it may only be fluttering.

I've already done an hours work this morning and about to go out again. Also need to run into town for vacuum bags & violin strings - DD was practising last night and her E string snapped. Going to buy a full set & a separate E one, then I won't have to do a mad dash to a music shop to replace one if another snaps.

I also promised to take DD to the library tonight after school, I need to renew my ticket and I want to get a book or two out to enjoy ;)

Flying wise...I've done some washing and spent the whole of yesterday (6 hours+) ironing and I've still got more to do so will be doing that later as well as more rounds & the kitchen list...

I best get myself out again as soon as I've shifted some money around.

Just caught up with thread. Kitchen was sorted at weekend but have washed bin out. DW stacked WM +TD x1.
    Living room dailys done.
Dusted walls and decobwebed in living room (due to woodburner).
Sorted toybox out and decluttered 2 bags of toys, so not doing too bad. Meatballs for tea so that's easy. 1 basket of clothes put away, windows wiped in conservatory, but might need doing again later as i had 2 little helpers:D. Frames wiped, i like to keep up with this as they get damp mould on if i don't. Takes ten min once a week.
Nixie, sooo jelouse, i have chooks but daren't hatch chicks as i don't know what i would do with the cocks.
Hugs and spoons and sticks to all who need them
Birthday wishes and cake to all birthday babes. xxx

drinkaware.co.uk has loads of info and tools to use. Government guidelines used to be that it took at least an hour for every half pint / measure of spirits / glass of wine to leave your system (counting the hours from the end of your last drink) BUT everyone is different (eg size, gender, fitness etc all affect how long it takes) so playing the numb ers is risky to others and your licence. Having coffee does not have an effect on this!

    This is quite neat too...

Morning all - I'm in this week though I haven't worked out what I'm doing yet - I know that accounts and invoices will be in there somewhere...off to work it out now x
