Write you 'spring cleaning' list... we will be working through that too

Run appliances through a clean cycle.. clean filters, drawers and doorseals first!

pigpen I wish I was nearer you. Then I could send DH to sort your guttering. His biggest problem ATM is that he doesn't seem to have a purposeHe is brilliant at helping people out.
It is my back room getting heating.. so I'll steal the link thank you.. they will probably be the same as what we put in the kitchen over the quarry tile flooring.
He is most welcome to a sofa or a tent in the garden..i'll even cover train fare and food! In fact.. he can have a child bed if he comes one weekend I am childless!... He can work his way through my list! Or I could banish DS1 to KH's and you could have his sofabed..
Both Wm's on.. OH brought the 3 baskets down.. though there is another in the girls room :eek:
Td on
Best get my heap big job for today done.. *hide under bucket cos I don't want to do it..*

Plus in my HHBlitz (which turned into 3xHHB) I also:
* Found DD's "missing school uniform" in a crumpled heap at the bottom of her wardrobe. She had to go in the emergency darned stuff this morning, because she "couldn't find the unmended stuff anywhere" :mad:
* Made a loaf of bread
* Finished and sent off an important application very carefully by e-mail
* Confirmed a lecture title and synopsis I'm giving next week
* Did the washing up from last night, apart from the tins which are still soaking
* Emptied the d/w
* Took down a huge dark load of dry washing, and hung up a huge white load...
* Nearly cleared the kitchen up
* Recharged the camera battery
* Booked tickets to see DD playing
Must have some food - I'm starving - then try to do a bit more sorting on the kitchen. See you later, ladies

Hi all
I have been lurking around the OS boards for the past few weeks whilst being off sick and finally took the step to wade in last week."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures,one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. Morning all :hello:
Nixie that is one cute baby, I keep thinking about getting chickens again, I am getting fed up with the price of eggs, might look at the local free range farm and see how much a tray of eggs is these days, supermarket prices are :eek:
I pay £3 for a tray of 30 from my local farm xSealed Pot Challenge member #982

Thanks Pooh - we opted for bamboo flooring in the end so could not use the boards. Problem was also that we would have had to dig some of the floor out or the step down into the hall would have been silly (original quarry height with the boards, mess and tiles. Never mind although it would have been much cosier in their.
Been busy doing bits and pieces. Just waiting for the bread to cool and then lunch for me. It is raining here yet again, really heavy. If it doesn't stop I may have to drive to school or I'll be sopping wet in the exam.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
lit WOW. £3 for 30? I paid £3 for a dozen yesterday at the market (for Mum who can't accept that free range from Sainsburys is still free range. Doesn't matter whether it comes from there or the market!)GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

Landlady been round for rent money its not due till 5th!! I usually give her cheques but as she doesnt bank them straight away and seems to hoard them forever ive decided to start paying her cash!! Luckily I went to the bank on the school run and withdrew the last bit of it out (Rent is £650 a month but can only withdraw £200 at a time) She also brought with her a large bag of cooking apples so they have now been transformed into 2 apple crumbles (1 for tonight and 1 for the freezer)
Ive joined the Grocery Challenge for march and gave myself a budget of £450!! Hopefully I can keep within it. Also doing spending diary and I can certainly say that its a NSD today as im not planning on going anywhere hahaSealed Pot Challenge member #982
