Good morning all!
Toots you don't need to worry lovely, but I'm touched by your concern. It's been discussed and examined and analysed from all angles and this way makes the most sense geographically for both of us to work and financially, the area offers better salaries for us both. OH would have to take a job for half of his current salary if he moved here or commute to London from Wales each day which is neither affordable or practical. My only real concern is getting LO into the right school!
He is currently in an OFSTED grade 1 (outstanding) school and I want to keep it that way. OH currently lives in a catchment area for one of them (elisamoose knows it well!) but I've had a nosey round some of the others and the surrounding catchment areas to get a feel for if I'd be happy with that area... That said, like Dusty says there's no guarantee he'd get in to his chosen school, but two of them are very close together so hopefully if he doesn't get into one, he'll get into the other!
Am off to do something productive before I have to get ready....
Decluttering will be my priority on the spring clean list I would think. I think I'll go put something on eBay.

Morning all been up since silly o'clock thanks to Woody who had spent the night (well until 4am) on the wrong side.
I have cleared a couple of hot spots
Emptied DW
shuffled the washing on the maidens
wiped kitchen side
decluttered the contents of two mags
Going to do a couple of bits on here and then polish the school shoes before starting the morning wake ups.
Piggers:
No 8. Yes you need to remove the moss first. Moss is caused by damp shade usually (or simply lack of grass) is the area shady? Does it get very damp? It may need spiking a bit to aid drainage and grass seed suitable for shade.
No.12 when we had the shower room done which has a concrete floor the builder told us that 80% of the heat would go down into the concrete unless we dug down and put insulation underneath the flooring. Underfloor heating works best on floor boards I beleive. We have it upstairs in the bathroom and it is fine. I'm not sure on the heating where it is pipes of hot water but guess that is not what you are looking at with the concrete floor. You may be best to look at underlay insulation if there is such a thing.
Jo speak to the school secretaries and ask if there are spaces in his year group (they often know if a space could be coming up with a family moving etc)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Morning everyone. Welcome to the new flyers.
I got up early and wrapped two presents that arrived after DD2 attended a joint birthday party on Saturday. I've made packed lunches for all 5 offspring and they are all moaning about it. The money saving manifesto has begun!
In addition to the above I've unloaded the DW and the WM. I'm going to get the little ones dressed (1 x school uniform and 1 x pirate costume) and try to get the hoover over the kitchen floor. It looks like chicken feed is on it!
I'm working after the school run and will try to pop in at lunchtime but it's my brothers birthday and as he's on gardening leave I am trying to cajole him into a birthday lunch.

not sure I'll be doing much flying today....
Got up this morning and could hear "cheep cheep cheep" And there's a hole in an egg in the incubator.
Dropped off DH to the station came back and a beautiful little black fluffy chick, slightly soggy and tired but out and chirping
It's our first ever chicky so I'm being an over attentive mummy.
Need to get the brooder in from the garage and find a space for it
(Yes I make a better chicken hatcher than baby hatcher - the irony is not lost on me)
Soooo piccies to follow when I can take the little fuffy cheeper out of the incubator:T:T:T
