Just realised the piece of music is Miserere. :rotfl:
That'll teach me to write a post at work, not check and not put enough emoticons in to make it more interesting to read.
:rotfl: OH well you knew what you meant so no matter :rotfl: Never heard of that piece, I do like a bit of classical (if that's what it is) I have my favourites on an mp3 for meditation time (read de-stress time!)Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. Allegri's Miserere? Do you know the story behind it? It was written for the Sistine Chapel and was only ever performed there, no-one outside the Vatican was allowed to see it written down and it stayed like that for nearly 140 years until a teenaged Mozart heard it and promptly wrote down the whole thing from memory. That soaring high line (which is a git to sing, it goes right up to a top C) is probably a Mozart addition.
You have very good taste in music Mr B0 -

I'm hoping their new routers work as well as the old one I had.
PlusNet have advise they will charge me £66 for terminating the contract early. I spoke to them about the cancellation period and apparently it is ten days after placing the order. I told them that it took longer than ten days to get the service connected so did not think this is fair. I think this may need a letter of complaint.
A LSD today, although a NSD would have been better.
I'd write a letter too, how are you supposed to know that the service will be rubbish before it's even started  I reckon they will drop it with a letter (perhaps get some advice from CAB or similar, they may even have a template for you!)

Does that mean DW is ok in work for now and can you get a refund on the bus pass or perhaps get it converted to 2 shorter term passes and both of you travel in by bus for a few weeks?
Hope so and hope the internet problems and associated costs get sorted soon.

Ah, I did music for A level and went on to study it at university - my A-level tutor at school was a specialist in Renaissance music, particularly liturgical settings. If you like that, try this:

I completed it and I am 50p away from pay-out and now there are none available.
Could this be a coincidence or something they have built into their system? Their surveys are few and far between.
I have to admit I gave up on surveys as it always seemed to end like this.

I can't get on with surveys either. When I think of it in terms of what our time is worth, they just don't pay. You have to spend around 4 hours to get a £10, over the space of months. Far more work than its worthbonnington wrote: »

Yup, it's classical
You can divide classical music roughly into six different periods:
1. Early (plainsong, Gregorian chant etc. - pre 1400)
2. Renaissance (what you like - c1400 to 1600)
3. Baroque (Bach, Vivaldi, Handel etc. - 1600 to 1750)
4. Classical (Mozart, Haydn, early Beethoven - 1750 to 1820)
5. Romantic (late Beethoven, Rossini, Chopin, Schubert - 1820 to 1910)
6. 20th/21st Century (Berg, Schoenberg, Messiaen - 1900 to present day)0 -

I watched the Great Manchester Run on catch up this afternoon. I might go out for a run tomorrow.I'm still contemplating applying for a charity place in the Great North Run. Two issues, you have to raise £395 or put the money in yourself and also I would need to pay for a Travelodge for two nights. Uncertain at present.
I have to drive DD to work tomorrow as it is not a bank holiday for her.
Go for it Bonnington. Sometimes we have to do something for ourselves. We only pass this way once and if you think you can afford it go for it.0
