It has been a long time since I have been on the forum :(

everything has just run away with me.

I have been back at work now for 4 and a half months and been soooo busy but it is good for me.

I have turned 30! hoping my 30's will be an improvement on my 20's!

on the man front, met someone lovely but got a bit complicated so will see if anything happens in the future.

now the important bit - my finances. Totally gone t**ts up. I actually think i am now in more debt :( will do my figures soon to post. I have realised that this forum was really helping me and kept me on track so i am hoping to be back even if i just find time once a week to post. i need to get it sorted. dont even know how this has happened again and feeling pretty depressed about it.

i hope everyone is doing well and i will catch up with you all soon

    xxxx

at least you now know what you're facing and can tackle it head on. What things have you done before that worked for you? Or have a look around the boards/ threads and pick up a mini challenge or two. Just try and take little steps you will clear your debts. How's your budget coming along? what are your apr's?
sorry for all the questions, just things to think about. Just remember the tiny steps....

    Thanks :)

It will definitely be the little steps that helps.

My APRs are okay - just will need to change one of my CC in october but will struggle as have poor credit rating now.

I am going to do a new budget and will post on my diary xx

Really tough day at work, very emotionally draining so have feet up and trying to relax.

I have decided that my current priority is passing my work exams in september so need to concentrate on revising this month as i really need to pass. so hopefully that will mean money saving as will not be out spending like i have done letting myself go the last few months.

As for money saving, off the top of my head I will either do or look into the following:
    • still have about £35 floating aroiund in an online xmas account somewhere.
    • complain to camping site (potentially £42 to get back)
    • look into avon
    • use up food cupboard stuff
    • write list of all cupboard foods and come up with meals
    • ebay - i have a few things ready and can also go through clothes
    • do not buy any luxuries - do not need clothes make up etc
    • try to have lots of NSD's
    • take packed lunch to work
    • use library instead of buying books
    • drive sensibly to reserve fuel
    • no alcohol - both for money reasons and my depression
    • no nights out drinking (as above)
    • buy essential food items at local tesco at times they always have reduced items including fruit and veg
    • write xmas present list ready for budgeting
    • write new budget
    • start spending diary - very important
    • get inspiration from the forum
    • buy cat food when it is on offer
some of these i can do whilst having revision breaks .

i will try to stay positive

    xx
