:DPay Day Today!!
So I have just been to the big T to do food shop - a
spent £55 out of our £120 budget for the month - lots of tins, also 2 boxes of cat food and some cat crunchies.
Very pleased with getting £42.13 worth of meat for just £19.00which will do loads of meals - put it all in the freezer. i got-
Raw King Prawns
Organic king prawns
turkey breast stir fry x 2
steak mince
12 cumberland sausages (good make) x 2
scampi
tuna steaks
mini chicken breasts x 2
organic beef mince
So that is at least 14 meals :-)
Also have a cooked cottage pie in the freezer, i bought a reduced pizza, a steak pie so thats another 3 meals = 17 meals - we are away this weekend but food paid by parents for grans birthday :-)
so i pretty much have 17 meals sorted for the month. also will do stuff like beans on toast/jacket potatoes.
Really please with all the reduced stuff - makes such a different as my brother has meat most days.
