so im not feeling well still and the evil headache is haunting me again but trying to be positive and telling myself at least im not waking up every day thinking i dont want to be here. And im back at work which is great!!!!

April really needs to be a money saving month - hoping to get a bank holiday shift at work :)

need to start doing some studying for work exams too - loads to do for them and dont want to leave it to the last minute - also not started my chinese cd yet!!

as for the gym - well my excuse has been ive not been well this week:( but i need to make the effort as it is expensive, i think once i go i will get back into it, its just the going!! it will help with my depression to do some exercise too so all in all i need to go!!!!!

lots coming up in April -
    • grans 90th birthday - present sorted
    • brothers birthday - present sorted
    • mothers day - present sorted
    • dads birthday - need other half of the present
    • night out with the girls £20
    • tea out on 6th - £10 - also look for voucher
    • night out with friend on 9th - £20
very costly month!! so need to budget well:):)

shopping budget for April is going to be £120 - £50 from brother and £70 from me. will see if i can get cat food out of this too - going to have to be careful!! going to have grocery money in cash in our shopping purse. will be doing some batch cooking.

YEY !!! Bank accounts set up!!
so from April each month :

    £50.00 to savings for emergencies

£100.00 to holiday fund for this year (i know .......but i really need one!!!)

£180 to monthly spend account including petrol

£70.00 cash withdrawn for grocery shop - add with £50 from brother.

    £600 to joint mortgage/bills account

then from main account will be minimum payments to x2 CCs, mobile bill, car insurance, gym,OD fees, loan.

should no longer need to use M&S CC (not cutting up until end of april just in case plans go pear shaped)

    slowly OD will decrease?????????????

    fingers crossed for april :)

dont know why but i feel quite positive now i have different accounts for different things! i think maybe for may i will change my direct debits to the monthly spend account too so then nothing really attached to the main account where i have debt. xx

Looking good. Not quite at this stage yet. We have 2 smallish credit cards, each less than 1k that I'm desperate to clear before we start saving pots. At that point will still have a £4k cc, 2 overdrafts and bank loan but will feel more in control and able to startsaving for things like the hols thayt we have already booked!

Great plan! I seem to get so much more out of my money if I budget it well. Have u factored in a treats fund? That's what keeps me going!

i think i will have to take my treats out of monthly spends - an incentive not to spend it all !!! xx

Basically with any spare money you have you make a payment a day with -as little as 1p. It is really good and helps clear the debt!!
