Does anyone know if Amber Arch has a set payout date? I've been paid for one job with them, but there's another I did on the same day that I'm still waiting for. Ho hum. It's not so much the fee I want, but the reimbursement.

I had the same question and so I emailed them and the reply I got was basically that it's not when you did the job that counts but when they get to QC it and send it the client. I had four jobs done the same day for them and three were paid a fortnight ago but one was missing. Turned out that by the time that one was QC'd it had just missed the payment run.

Their next payment run was meant to be Monday but there was a delay and apparently it should have gone through today (although I haven't checked my account to confirm that).

In general they do a payment run every two weeks.

If your job's older than that send them a quick email - they've always been very nice to me.
If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.

Did anyone have a problem getting their first job with REACT. They initially give new shoppers a rating of 5, which excludes us from a lot of the jobs. The others I have applied for I haven't got, probably because other applicants have a higher rating.

It seems a bit of problem, I can't get the opportunity to work for them, to increase my score!

I didn't get one for ages too. But don't be fooled, high scores does not mean you will get visits. I get 10 out 10 for most of my visits, but a lot that I apply for I don't get.

They're not as big as some of the other agencies, so might have lots of shoppers and few jobs in your area. Since they lost the coffee and petrol contracts I haven't had anything from them. I used to get nearly everything I applied for.

I have just woken up and checked my email. If anyone is interested Asda have a selection of seasonal fruit from £1. Why they had to send me an email 187 times telling me this is beyond me. I'm glad I had the sense to turn the email alerts on my phone off or I wouldn't have been impressed!

boyoboy1986 - I just thought I'd let you know that Asda have a selection of seasonal fruit from £1:rotfl:

Maybe there are 187 varieties of seasonal fruit, which is why Asda thought they needed to tell you 187 times.

I could with some fresh fruit, after all the high calorie stuff i'm eating on jobs.

Still free lunch yesterday, lunch & dinner today, lunch tomorrow & lunch and dinner on Saturday. I may not be getting rich, but im getting fatter!

Well, I'm a bit cross. Anyone ever had a MS company refuse to accept your report, when you had followed the brief to the letter and submitted your report on time and in ship shape fashion? It's not even losing the paltry fee that I'm annoyed about, it's the implication that I'm lying that has really got my goat, though the fact that I wasted an hour of my life is annoying too. What, if anything, can you do about it?
