Strange.. Not happened to me but do call the number before they reallocate it! the general email doesn't get answered as fast now that lauras left!

Just had an email back. Apparently it was deallocated on Tuesday and "sorry for any inconvenience" Guess they will have found a shopper already to do it as I wasn't taken up on my offer to reinput the results.

Tried ringing, onto voicemail and no point leaving a message as I will be phone unreachable soon.

Thought GfK were one of the better companies - am not impressed that I'm not going to be paid for a a job through no fault of my own.

I advise all GfK workers to take screen shots of their "Thank you for results" page on every job they input. If it happened to me, it could happen to you too.

I don't know if anyone else is like this but whenever I walk into a shop not doing a MS, I still do checks like for tidyness and stuff. Very weird, but I can't seem to help it.

Just an update : I emailed GfK back asking how I can ensure this doesn't happen again. Apparently, they looked closer and "due to a glitch in our system" it was deallocated.

They could see my report, so they reallocated me the visit and I had to submit again - didn't have to retype the report as it was already in there. Crazy.

So, screen shots are the order of the day with GfK for me from now on if their system is having this type of glitch.

I did it when I went to a medical appointment the other day. I approached the front checking to see if it was litter free and in a good state of repair, looked to the left and right and was trying to get a look at the receptionist's name badge as she greeted me with a friendly smile.

But did she make good eye contact and welcome you with a pleasant greeting?

How many people were in front of you, and how long did you have to queue?

Were you acknowledged while you queued, who by, and how did they acknowledge you?

When you reached the front of the queue were you offered an apology for the wait?

There was no queue, so I didn't have to wait. There were 0 people in the queue. No-one managed the queue as there wasn't one. I didn't have an apology as there was no queue and the wait was 0 minutes, oh and 0 seconds.

Comment: Did you have to wait in the queue?

The waiting room wasn't great though, everyone looked ill.

There was a problem with the system over the weekend.

I did a job on Friday morning and did the report on Friday afternoon, but I kept getting an error message when I clicked on validation.

I wasn't able to submit the job until Monday afternoon. I thought it might have been automatically deallocated over the weekend but I managed to hang on to it!

It does save the report if you fill it in, even though it is allocated to another shopper. I once did a reshop as the original report couldn't be used, and I could see the comments the other shopper had written. The standard of English was shocking, and I was giggling at the descriptions of people which were not flattering :o
Here I go again on my own....
