Well, I'm a bit cross. Anyone ever had a MS company refuse to accept your report, when you had followed the brief to the letter and submitted your report on time and in ship shape fashion? It's not even losing the paltry fee that I'm annoyed about, it's the implication that I'm lying that has really got my goat, though the fact that I wasted an hour of my life is annoying too. What, if anything, can you do about it?

    Let me guess. Gapbuster?!!!

My guess would be jewellery with AA. Going by the email that was sent out the other day there have been a lot of rejected reports.

Yep. Though not for any of the issues they mentioned in that email. The staff member suggested a cubic zirconia ring, and even though the rings I chose were all diamond, they're trying to catch me out for some reason. First suggesting that I chose the cubic zirconia ring, then suggesting that I 'loved' the cubic zirconia ring (I didn't, I 'loved' the one I chose myself), then suggesting that I hadn't stuck to the £1,000 budget, when there was no £1,000 budget! I've double-checked the scenario and all emails sent, and while some people were given that budget, I wasn't one of them. And if there was a £1,000 budget I'm sure they would have told me that in the first email, after looking at my report. Why wait until the 8th?! Massive waste of my time.

Did you give a negative report? The email was strange.

I've once had a burger place say that I had someone in the car with me on a drive through. In fact I'd dropped my OH off at the aldi round the corner, but gap rang me, and I laughed and said no I didn't have anyone in the car with me! The woman seemed to believe me, but still felt the need to remind me via email that they had to be done alone! I'll be honest that my reply was not the nicest, and I said that if the restaurant wanted to provide CCTV proof that I had someone in the car I'd love to see it!

In other news, I realised today why I never sign in to take crisp photos!! I got the spanish inquisition! I just happened to have my autho letter on me, and they were stacking the shelves so thought I would sign in. Security woman on radio to manager "she's got a letter, but it could have been printed anywhere" [yeh, my house!] "it seems odd" etc etc. Did I have ID on me, what was it for, how long would it take, have I been in the store before. UGH! I was so tempted to tell them to forget it and pop back and do it covertly.

I do all of mine covertly. Until I get caught then I sign in for one or two at that store until catching me is forgotten and go back to covert :)

I've only had one bad experience signing in and the old battle-axe at that those was a right nuisance. Complained because I hadn't come between 9 and 5. I managed to charm my way in but she really rubbed me up the wrong way!
