No.1 Accident Claims Ltd - any comments?

Hi all

I just joined because I work in the same building as these clowns, and you might be interested to here that they were raided by the police yesterday. Since then they appear to have (hopefully permanently) vanished.

For what it's worth the people they employed were absolutely horrible. Sociopaths to a one, they managed to leave the kitchen and shared lavatories in a horrendous state on a daily basis. I hope the knock on effect is that no one is getting these harassing phone calls any more.

As I'm a new user I cant post a link to the story confirming the above, but if you do a search for Manchester Evening News, they lead with that story today.

From next April companies like this will not be able to charge a fee to lawyers for personal injury claims

I read the article about these people being raided. I believe that was november? They must have moved to somewhere else as I had a call from them in december. I told them to go ahead with my claim and I've not heard a word from them since. Since reading this thread I don't believe I will hear from them now. I hope they have not put my claim in and kept the money for themselves. I think an e mail to Manchester trading standards will be next on my agenda!
