Please be wary of many companies out there, I work with a few independent solicitors and management companies. Some of the do charge admin fees that are hidden, they say u get 100% comp etc but then u pay a fee after.
How did they get ur details??0 -
Hi thank you,
I am not sure where they had my details from... They rung up on my mobile and knew everything about the claim and what had gone on. I dont mind them claiming money especially as i believe i was treated unfairly - no way it was my fault - i was parked on the side of the road and another driver when parking caught my bumper. no damage to my car but the other driver had a damaged door. She was rude and nasty - as we didnt want to agree to the fact that it was my fault. So we happily left it with the inurance company - and a year later we found out that the claim went against us plus the other driver got 8k in compansation for injuries!!!
because of that i wanted to explore their offer as my premium went up despite protected NCB!!!
any advice?
thank you0 -
So you were stationary and she clipped your car during a manouvre? You need to find out why your insurance has accepted liability? Did they not ask for your accident circumstances?0

yes thats excatly what it was... having spoken to insurance chap who came out we just waited to hear from the insurance company. never heard anything until we tried to renew and found out that the renewal quote is a lot hire due to a claim that went against us despite the protected NCD.
not sure where the company had our contact details0 -
the same happend to me, they contacted me, knew everything about me and what had happend and that it'd cost nothing to claim win or lose, after speaking to them about the claim they put me through to a solicitors and they said the claim would be accepted. A man from a courier company visited me at home with the paperwork from number 1 claims and when i read through the conditional fee agreement it states that you (the client) are primarily liable to pay basic costs incl solicitors and barrister fees, and a success fee after winning or partly winning the claim. Also if you lose all or part of the claim you are liable to pay for the oppositions solicitors fees. Dosn't quite sound like no win no fee or even like you'd get 100% of the cliam! I wern't to sure about it, so i did what felt right and told the guy to f**k off and kept all the paperwork
. Has anyonelse had any experience with this company???

same happened to me. im 99% sure they get all your details when you renew your insurance, on most well know price comparison sites. they knew almost everything about my claim, after telling them numerous times where to go politely to start of with, then they caught me on a bad day and i wasn't so polite then, they did leave me alone for a few months and they just started calling me again 3days ago, so iv gone along with it this time just to see weather it is a con or not, iv asked them all sorts of questions trying to catch them out and everything seems inline, still doesnt seem 100% right tho, hence why im looking through the internet about them, they have a swanky new website they didnt have a few months back! looks a lot like SWIFTY22 did the same as me, im almost at the stage where the solicitor gets involved. after reading about the hidden terms and conditions i might tell them where to go again, iv told them i wont do stuff over the phone and i want it all down on paper, they assure me we are getting to that stage, one point! they didnt seem put off when i told them my sister is a solicitor and i'll be having her look through everything, so thats either pure cheek or they are ligit :S:S:S:S:S
i dont believe in owt for nowt and i certainly aint got my greedy goggles on so im pretty sure i cant get conned, i'll keep you posted when i get some paper work through and can scan it all online for others to have a look through, other than that has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with these baboons. the people in the call center are certainly very well trained in answering all the awkward questions and have an answer for everything!0 -

Insurance companies sell the names of people in accidents to these claims companies, they make a lot of money out of it.
I had a no fault claim and rang my insurance company 'for information only' I dealt directly with the 3rd party as I was totally not to blame.
I was not in the car when someone hit me.
1 day later I had numerous calls from claims companies, even a letter.
The only people who could have passed my details on was my own insurance company. I was livid and told them so in no uncertain terms and instructed them never to pass my name onto any third parties.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
i just got my third call from number one claims about an accident i had last year when a lorry reversed into my car and bent my bonnet. the driver was very decent about it and the repairs all went smoothly.
the operator from number one claims told me that the insurance company had money 'put aside' for compensation for personal injury in this case, and all i had to do was claim it. i told them that nobody was hurt in the accident and that i wouldn't be needing their help.
however, the call has upset me and i would love to know what i could do to stop companies like this from being able to trade as legitimate, when they are parasitical and encourage the worst in human nature.0 -
