Yikes - it seems like only a day or so since I posted my last mealplan, and it's time for another week already!
This week I've got:
Friday - fish, chips and mushy peas (from the freezer not the chippy, sadly
)
Saturday - venison casserole (thanks to kitchenbunny for the recipe (on another thread) :T), with polenta and veg
Sunday - veg and cashew nut noodle stirfry
Monday - western burger (in a bun with BBQ sauce and onion rings ) with HM baked beans
Tuesday - mushroom stroganoff and chips
Wednesday - smoked mackerel kedgeree
Thursday - savoury mince and veg cobbler
The above might change slightly as my dad may be coming to visit one evening: if he does, we'll go out for a curry and the rest of my mealplan will move on by a day.Back after a very long break!0 -
Here goes:
Monday - Chicken Salad (using leftover meat from Sunday's Roast)
Tuesday - Spicy Sausage Pasties with HM Wedges
Wednesday - Fajitas
Thursday - Chicken Curry
Friday - Chilli con carne with sautee potatoes
Saturday - Kitchenbunny's Special Chinese-style Ribs with rice
Sunday - Chicken & Ham Pie with Mashed Potatoes
There'll be a few cakey things, fruit and other things to snack on, plus cereals for breakfast and leftovers or sandwiches for lunch. Thanks for starting the thread, and it's great to read everyone's mealplans.

Ooooh I love reading about what everyone else is eating! I'm the one who always asks friends and families what they're having for dinner lol.
Our meal plans always start on a thursday. Mum drops LO off to me at work as I finish at half 12 then we go and do the weekly shop. Here is our meal plan for the next week starting today:
Thursday: homemade ham and pineapple pizza with salad and some naughty sultana flapjacks!
Friday: BBQ chicken thighs with spicy rice, salad and homemade coleslaw.
Saturday: if we don't go out, not looking likely as money is v tight, we will have salmon and broccoli fishcakes with lemon mayo to start, steak wedges and roast tomatoes for main and then something nice for dessert.
Sunday: Roast pork with roast potatoes, yorkshire puds, parsnips, carrot, broccoli and cabbage.
Monday: Pork fried rice with onions, egg and peas with stir fried brocolli and cabbage.
Tuesday: spaghetti bolognese from freezer.
Wednesday: sausages mash and whatever veg are hanging around.
I realise this menu is pretty meat heavy so I might swap tomorrows chicken for smoked cod and parsnip fishcakes. We have had quite a few meat free days this week so I'm not too worried. Saturday might not happen if we go out, it will be something quick and easy instead. So possibly the fishcakes lol.
Lunches are sandwiches and leftovers and breakfasts are toast and porridge.
I love food!! Xx0 -

I haven't thought about next week yet!
Friday night: little fish cakes with tzatziki roast, med veg (me) with pasta for him, and orange and fresh date fruit salad I think (it feels warm enough for cold food today but it might not tomorrow!)
Saturday Lunch: soup.....either tinned tom, consomme or miso....but for night I think we might have a sitting room picnic.....bread, fruit, cheese and a bottle of grape juice and some popcorn in front of a dvd (I know, slobby eating...but e'll be working hard tomorrow). If not then I'll cook a proper supper but not too heavy....the freezer could provide for a stew, a chilli or burgers with no dificulty or digging deep.
Sunday: lunch...tuna/spring salad pitas, supper bruschetta, venison (which we have a lot of on the freezer....for free) then something to do with bottled plums.
I reserve right to chnage my mind a anytime before defrosting things.0 -
Monday - lemon and chilli crusted salmon with lemon butter green beans
Tuesday - sticky pork steak with garlic chickpeas and spinach
Wednesday - homemade fish cakes with potato wedges and peas
Thursday - [STRIKE]risotto of some description[/STRIKE] don't fancy risotto so having pasta and sauce (the lazy way)
Friday - garlic chilli chicken with coconut, chilli and lemongrass rice (rice from a packet i've had for ages!)
Saturday - chicken kiev with leftover rice
Sunday - lasagne with garlic bread
3 new recipes to try this week

I managed to stick to 5 out of 7 days in the last week.
My dad was rushed to hospital in the early hours of sunday morning & i've been juggling double visits.
I'm just trying to get my head around planning from sunday onwards.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0
